Great for protecting amiibo cards!
I use these sleeves to protect my amiibo card collection, which then goes inside their respective binders. The matte surface gives a perfect view of the card without glare, and is also nice to the touch. The sleeves also feel nice and sturdy, but not too thick. The way I store my cards in my binder involves me putting the actual card inside one of these sleeves, then putting the sleeved card inside the slot. The black backing provides a nice black border when viewing the card from the front. These sleeves also prevent the cards from sliding out, considering that the Nintendo-provided binders have bigger slots than the Hori binders. As for the Hori binders, they're a bit of a tighter fit but still snug.Overall, they're great quality for the price.

These sleeves have a nice matte finish both front and back
Note: consider that I have not used these sleeves extensively on writing this review. Once I have I will change anything if needed.Shipped fast, and you get what you pay for. I got a bunch of these sleeves for a few MTG decks I have. These sleeves have a nice matte finish both front and back. Personally I like the feel of the matte on the transparent side, but others might not. I had a few other ultra pro sleeves that would split after extensive shuffling, but these sleeves feel very solid on the seams. My only complaints are that the silver ultra pro logo is raised, this is only an aesthetic complaint really. The second complaint is that the finish on the transparent side seems to 'dull' the artwork on the cards, again this is only an aesthetic complaint as of now.On a side note, upon sleeping my new EDH deck (99 cards, I used s different color for my commander) I was left with 2 extra sleeves. If anything this is a plus! I won't complain about getting an extra sleeve though!

Best Sleeves
These are some of the best. I've tried many brands and styles. These last the longest and show the least wear with lots of play. I have purchases over 1,000 of this exact kind. I plan to buy more because it will continue to match existing sleeves in my collection. I tried the Matte-Matte and didn't like the way it dimmed the picture/art. So I went back to these shown here because it is matte on the black side and glossy/clear on the side with the art. Matte is more forgiving with greasy fingers after eating pizza that kind of thing.

A couple of minor annoyances, but still better than glossy
I'm very happy with these sleeves. I actually bought these to reduce glare from the overhead lights above my gaming table. They do reduce glare, but not as much as I expected. However, there are other unexpected qualities that I like about them. The surface is also more pleasant to the touch than glossy sleeves, for me personally.Pros:- They look more like an unsleeved card. At a glance they don't stand out next to my unsleeved cards. This is great for the Pathfinder Adventure Card game, where I only sleeve the player decks (I have a pile of empty sleeves handy for new card acquisitions).- Height is slightly smaller than my Fantasy Flight sleeves. That's a good thing, because there's less floppy excess.- Glare is reduced.- They don't occasionally stick together like glossy sleeves.Cons:- They do dim the card slightly. Not a lot, but it's there.- The hologram sometimes gets in the way of certain card texts. Stupid design flaw, IMO. They could have put it on the opaque back. Or at least put it in the corner, or make a holographic strip across the top or something -- if they really must put that dumb logo on there.
