Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin CC Cream, Light/Medium, 1.2 Ounce

I've been using this as a foundation for about 1-2 years. I have sensitive, dry skin with no oiliness; I have occasional breakouts. I do not wear makeup everyday, maybe once a week at the most. So here's a mostly-barefaced-lady's review: This CC cream is great as a foundation because it covers well, is a bit buildable (so I can cover up any redness, if necessary), and lasts well. I like that it has an SPF, too! If I'm doing full-face makeup, I apply my day cream, then this CC and an eyeshadow primer to my upper lids, then do my eye makeup so I can clean up any fallout below my eyes, and then apply this CC all over my face. I use a wedge or beauty blender or kabuki brush for the CC cream. It lasts all day. I might have to blot below my eyes once or twice but that's about it. If I really want it to last all day/all night, I'll use a setting spray, too, but I usually skip that. What else... lately, I've also tried mixing the CC 50-50 with my day cream and using that as a sort of tinted moisturizer once in a while. It blends well with the cream and in that combo, gives just a little bit of coverage. I just mix it in my palm and apply with my fingers if I use it that way.

Okay, something is SUPER wrong with this product. I have actually used it for years and loved it, but lately, something changed. It seemed fine at first, but after a few days of using it, the makeup starts to get clogged in the tube and won't come out. And when it DOES come out, it's like a clumpy booger-y texture. But the worst part is it literally smells like dirty, moldy laundry. I thought it actually was my clothes- I was sniffing everything on me and kinda smelled it everywhere and then imagine my horror when I found out it's actually the makeup on my FACE! WHAT THE HECK IS IN IT? So. I returned it. They sent me a new one. SAME PROBLEM!!!! I can't see a way to get my money back so now I'm stuck with it and just going to have to toss it out. What a waste. Seriously, buyer beware.

Have been using this product for over three years now. I've noiced that the price has more than doubled in local stores, so grateful for the good buy on Amazon. I have always used very expensive dept store brands. When I had endocrine disruption, which can be caused by the chemicals in cosmetics, I decided to go as toxic-free as possible. That's what I appreciate the most about this product. Compared to all foundations I've tried- "natural" and high-end, it goes on well with a creamy but balanced consistency. Not too oily, not too dry/matte, leaves my skin feeling well moisturized, with some of the best coverage I've ever found in a product. While I usually dab an extra bit on red areas, it lasts all day, and the tube goes a long way. At first was going to give it 4 stars for not working magic like some of the top of the line products do, but thats why its not toxic, that's why it's dirt cheap, and it's not a skin care product ; it's a foundation. I leace the magic to my skin care line, and with what I save on foundation, I could go to a plastic surgeon if I wanted to! It's always wonderful to find a quality product at a great price.

If you're fair and cool skinned like I am, then you may find that the color is too warm for your complexion. If you do decide to purchase this product, then I would suggest to also find a very light and cool toned setting powder to apply on top of the cc cream-- even a little arrowroot powder could do the trick.I've noticed the orange hue of the physicians formula wear in a previous makeup item I bought from them, and that is why I am not crazy about their foundation wear. The coverage is about average, however I think if the company could make the base of their makeup appear more yellow instead of orange, then they may have more success in flattering a variety of skin tones.I think that the product can seem like worth the buy if you don't want to spend a good hunk of money on an organic foundation. From what I've seen many of them cost $30+, but I haven't done extensive research nor have I personally tried them on myself. I suppose I'm just a person who wouldn't want to spend that much money on a makeup item.For me personally, I enjoy mineral foundation. The cc cream mixes things up a bit, but I don't know if I would buy the product again.

This is a great everyday foundation. This was sent to me as a replacement because the first one I purchased was spoiled. It had chunks in it that blocked the product from coming out. I could not get the product to come out until finally i squished it so hard that a huge solid chunk came flying out. After that, everyday that I applied the product there were dried chunks and it smelled like a mildewy old towl. I asked amazon for a replacement and received one which was complete different and better. No chunks, no bad smell. So if you get a bad one, it happens, but just ask for a replacement and you'll get one for not much of a hassle.

UPDATE: The most recent tube I received had something seriously wrong with it! It smelled off, was goopy and stringy and was chunky in the tube making it clog the opening. It wasn’t expired but maybe the formulation changed. Whatever happened, this product is NOT something I’ll be using anymore which is a huge disappointment.I have been using this CC cream for a about 5 months. I had been using another one by Aveeno but discovered it had a oxybenzone in it which I try to avoid. I researched and found this product and switched to it and haven't looked back. I wear it every day, either alone or under make-up. It provides a nice touch of color and good coverage if used alone. I don't wear foundation but this does the trick enough! If I don't feel like putting on make-up, I at least use this and it gives me enough coverage to feel confident going without make-up! It makes my skin look smoother, pores less noticeable and evens my skin tone. I also love that it has sunscreen, a must for me! And it's free of bad chemicals. For something that I use daily, sometimes applied more than once a day, being free of damaging chemicals is very beneficial. I will continue to use this product for as long as I can!

Anteriormente yo ya he usado este producto y me encanto, tenia tiempo de no verlo y lo encontre aqui, mas sin embargo el producto que adquiri esta en mal estado no se si este ya este expirado pero no sirve se supone que es una cc cream y el producto biene completamente liquido, estoy segura que ya no sirve y que esa no su composicion ya que la he usado anteriormente
