This is an biography of a man that faced many challenges, especially from the established elite. I thought that the book was well written, and the facts of his life the good and the bad parts well documented.

Fascinating person and well written book about Sir James Goldsmith. Great overview on his achievements and life. It would have been great if the author had gone into more detail about his businesses and how he managed to build what he built, but I suppose that would have taken many volumes to chronicle accurately. But overall a great book.

One my favorite books of all time. Such an amazing character captured in a rich an entertaining way. Highly recommend.
