Think of this unique honey from New Zealand for gift giving
My wife and I are fascinated with New Zealand culture, including some of their TV shows, so we stumbled across manuka-certified honey not too long ago and now we're intrigued with this as a year-end gift idea. We have friends who enjoy gourmet foods, and we know that unusual food gifts can be a solution for the "person who has everything." I'm explaining all of that to say: If you're looking for a reasonably priced jar of this certified honey, getting this 8-plus concentration of the honey is roughly half of the cost of getting the more intense 15-plus, which Amazon also sells. Depending on your gift-giving budget, you might prefer this more reasonable price tag. Or, you might prefer to simply go all the way and buy the more intense concentrations. There's also a 10-plus option via Amazon. So, why is this honey from New Zealand so expensive? This honey is a famous gourmet product from the region with a tightly controlled certification process that lets customers trust the honey was made by bees raised in areas of flowering manuka shrubs. Interaction with these flowers producers a distinctively flavored honey that sometimes is called floral or even earthy. We agree with those terms to describe the flavor.Personal taste certainly is an issue when shopping for honeys. My wife and I also have tried both the 10-plus and the 15-plus varieties of this brand of manuka honey. Out of the jar, it's obvious that any manuka honey is different than the common honeys we have in our pantry. Manuka honey typically is thicker. We expected that. We would describe this 8-plus strength as golden, a bit lighter than the 10-plus variety and then the 15-plus is really more of a brownish hue.Is it worth the money? Is it so different that we will become ongoing customers ourselves? Our answer is: No, not for ourselves on a regular basis. It's good. It's more intense, but it's too expensive for us.So, why are we giving this 5 stars? Because it's such a fascinating and exotic variety to try. That's why our headline emphasizes: Gift Giving. If you've got a person on your shopping list who enjoys sweet treats like jams, marmalade and honeys, this is a great gift idea! Your friend or loved one probably has never had manuka honey. It's fun! So, we're giving it 5 stars.

Premium Tropical New Zealand Manuka Honey - Raw & Unfiltered
This is a treat for those special times I am having someone visit and sharing a pot of tea. This is incredibly tasty honey that is slightly hinted with a citrus note and filled with the benefits Manuka Honey offers when it is raw and unfiltered. This 8.8 oz. (250 Gm.) Jar was well sealed. It took me seconds to remove the honey that was stuck on the seal prior to discarding - obvious how I did that! This has the lovely taste I want and the additional per the listing specific benefits: "Manuka honey is a nutrient-dense prebiotic filled with flavonoids, polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals".I Highly Recommend this MELORA Store Melora Manuka Honey UMF 8+. A special treat for me & family!I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

Good Tasting Honey
Bees in New Zealand pollinate the flowering Leptospermum Scoparium plant and then make Manuka honey. It is rare in the world and expensive due to its scarcity and reportedly has good antibacterial qualities. For me, though, honey is all about the flavor and this honey tastes really good to me. It is very flavorful and has an interesting tang, almost a bit of spice, to it. It's not overly sweet and tastes really good in tea. I also used it in my favorite rye bread recipe and it gave the bread an interesting complex flavor. If you'd like a honey that's a little different from the average and has some medicinal qualities as well, this one is worth a try. I like this honey and recommend it.

What an Amazing taste
I always try to use local produce and pretty strict about it. I thought it shouldn’t limit me from consuming world tastes.I received Melora Manuka honey yesterday. Upon opening it, its smell and color amazed me. But the taste is really different and full of flavor.I don’t know what else to say about honey but this must be the caviar of honeys.I found the expiry date under the barcode if you’d like to check.
