Such a great resource to have when studying.

I love this translation. I have the New Testiment leather bibles and now this. I'm not sure what's happening with production but the books themselves are such bad quality. And there are so many notes. Not everyone needs all the extra notes.

Addition to my library

I love this book either the foot notes it tells you things that other translations have left out. Like Gensis 3: where God said woman will want to rule over man and man will want to rule over the woman and God want neither to rule over the other but to look to God and try to out love one another. That part about man wanting to rule over woman has been left out and has so set me free.

No surprise Brian Simmons does it again! You can’t put it down . But it !

I was so excited to find out that Genesis, put out by the same people that published The Passion Translation, was available! The church I attend is teaching through Genesis, so it is extremely timely. I have begun to read it and I’m very happy with it. The footnotes helps so much in understanding God‘s Word by understanding what is actually being said in the original language.

The notes in TPT are worth the price of the book. Brian has done so much research and the depth of understanding and revelation is incredible. He gives amazing insights throughout the translation. I have bought every one since the first set. Love them all and highly recommend.

When you understand that Genesis is a book of covenants you start to understand the amazing story of our Father and the effort He made to get Jesus into the earth through a godly line! Amazing!!!

Simmons does a wonderful job giving the details of the original language to deepen understanding of the text.i love using TPT alongside two or three other translations.

Da mir das NT und die Psalmen der Passion Übersetzung gut gefallen, habe ich Genesis bestellt. Durch die leicht lesbare Schreibweise erschließt sich der Text und das Geschehen gut. Am hilfreichsten finde ich allerdings die ausführlichen Erläuterungen zur Entstehung der jüdischen Kultur und die Übersetzungen aus dem Hebräischen. Da kommt man viel tiefer an die Bedeutung heran und die Absichten Gottes in seinem Handeln werden deutlich!In jeder Beziehung 5 Sterne von mir

So much information in addition to the scriptures. Helps to set pictures of occurrences, characters, and places. Excellent. Great commentary.
