This is an excellent quality product. It is so effective that I put it on monthly autoship. The taste varies from bottle to bottle and sometimes pill to pill, and it does take some getting used to. I can understand why some people find the taste awful, but for me it is well worth dealing with the taste. It has minimal ingredients, it absorbs quickly under your tongue, so it is easy to swallow. It does contain a tiny amount of dairy.

I originally gave it 3 stars due to bitter taste but the benefits outweigh it, plus you get used to the taste in a day or two. The first day of taking it, I noticed an increase in energy. The second day of taking it, the mood also improved ten fold. Cannot wait to see what happens in a week!

These can be swallowed whole, but I purchased this particular one because they are sublingual dissolving tablets, which are supposed to have a higher absorption rate (for those of us that have chronic gastritis) and I wanted to see if I could avoid having to have B1 shots. I can't speak as to their effectiveness because I only tried one and plan to purchase a different brand, but they taste like a horribly bitter pill, like literally dissolving a normal pill in your mouth. It took hours to get the bitter taste out of my mouth. And I'm not being a pansy, I take liquid supplements that do not taste good by any stretch, and they even upset my stomach sometimes. But if you are wanting these to take sublingually, I do not recommend it. There are capsules that are cheaper and higher mg dose if you just want a normal pill to swallow whole.

I haven't had time to see if they're effective or not, so just rating based on taste etc. These things taste SO bad, but I take them along with my dissolvable CoQ10 that's fruity so it takes the bitter away for the most part. They melt super fast so it's only bad for about 10 seconds.

Absolutely disgusting bitter taste, as so many have already reported. I also have a beef with how there are at least a few broken tablets somewhere down in the bottle, resulting in powdered residue coming out whenever I tilt the bottle to take out one tablet. That said, it's a ridiculously good deal for a Vitamin B-1 supplement. My neurologist recently suggested that my B1 levels might be lower than ideal, so I looked on Amazon for an affordable B-1 supplement that was available via Subscribe & Save, which is how I get many other vitamins, household items, and some food. At only $5.95 USD for 100 tablets after my 15% subscription discount, it's a no-brainer. Which hopefully will help me have a better brain! Another reviewer mentioned that these have the classic disgusting bitter B-vitamins taste. So I'm assuming these are legit. It's too early to know if they're helping with some brain fog but at this low price, I'll make a face and "take my medicine."

I do not understand why everyone is rating this supplement base on the taste not on the efficacy and quality of the supplement. I was deficient in B1 and I started using this supplement for 7 Months and now my levels are at a normal range. I agree the taste is bitter I take it in the morning on an empty and at night, it helps me to sleep better. I drink a little bit of lemon water after taking it, after a while you get use to the taste. I highly recommend it. Clean ingredients and top quality supplement.

*Please read the whole thing* These comments are not exaggerating. I cannot tolerate pills so I have cut every medicine imaginable in half. This was by far the worst tasting med I've ever had. But I got used to it! At first I quite literally had to eat a mint after taking this tablet, but a month later I don't even notice it. It's become apart of my daily routine I used to wake up exhausted, could barely get out of bed, dizzy during the day and had to take naps or drink multiple cups of coffee. Now I'm waking up well rested and I have more energy. If I go a week without taking these vitamins, I notice! This stuff is the real deal. Life changing

These tablets are bitter to dislove under the tongue but they are easy to get used to.

Vitamin B1 is effective to tackle jerking body, quivering mouth and tightening of toe muscles. For my case I usually take 2 tablets each time, once a week. There are times, seldom, I take 2 tablets each time twice a week. Only take when acute symptoms appear.

My husband is using these to help stop his early Parkinson's symptom of shaking hands. It has worked extremely well.
