12 Foot 2.5mm Stereo Headphone Extension Cable

I was able to run this from my projector, fish through the ceiling and connect to my receiver. I had to do some pulling to get the wire through the ceilings and was worried I might ruin the wire but in the end it worked out. Thanks.

I bought this 2.5mm stereo cable to extend my Neweer (labeled as Shoot brand) EZA-C1 remote shutter release with my Canon G15. It works perfectly with the remote / G15, and seems nicely made and rugged. It wouldn't work for headphones for me since all of my headphones use the 3.5mm plugs, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Now I have a 15 foot wired release / intervalometer for my Canon G15 for a very low price.

I bought two of these hoping to extend my Harmony 900 Remotes IR blaster to a position that I could control my IR light switch in my home theater setup.I read someones review saying they had hooked two of them together and it worked, when I tried it on the other hand I had complete signal loss coming from the IR blaster. I even moved the blaster within a few inches of the switch thinking the signal may just be weaker...still nothing.When I only used one of the extension cables it worked fine at 10 feet away from the light switch.I was able to accomplish setting my Harmony remote up to control my light switch I just had to run the wire a little different than I wanted to because I could only use one extension cable.

I must have gotten a defective one since it did not work as an extension to my Panasonic remote. The remove worked on its own but not with this extension (other reviewers had been able to make it work!) I guess there are some defective ones out there.update! Ok... I did not rerun the one I purchased (they said I would get a return label but never did.) Either way. Don't have time to pursue these small items but I really needed an extension cable like this for a shoot with my Panasonic GH3 coming up; so I ordered another one Expedited shipping! I need to extend the remote 12 feet! Well. It turned out the new cable doesn't work either! My remote works when connected directly to the camera; but when I add this 12 foot extension it doesn't work! I have no idea why. Could I have gotten two defective cables in a row? I don't understand because this configuration has worked for others here in this forum.

I had been looking every where for something to make my remote to my canonsx50 camera, I bought it but it's only 3 feet, and I wanted something longer, so I looked and looked couldn't find a long cord, then someone told me all I needed was a stereo headphone cord!! Yea!! I just hooked it up to my canon remote shutter cord and works! Now I can take pictures of me and friends without having to run back and forth with the timer! And can fit everyone in the picture!! Great cord for what I needed it for, I have not used for head phones so can't talk about this product with that.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a Cannon T5 and I use a remote shutter to take all of my own cosplay photos but the cord on the remote was too short. I am happy to say after previously buying the wrong size input I bought this one and it works perfectly! the 2.5mm input fits just right into my cameras audio jack and I can use my remote shutter just like always but now just further away if i need <3 A perfect solution for me for the best price!

Although this is a stereo cable (three metal sections and two plastic bands on the connector), it works fine as an extension cord for my Harmony Hub IR blasters which have a mono 2.5" connector (two metal sections and one plastic band on the connector).I run this through my floor along with an HDMI cable to keep some of my AV equipment in the basement below my family room and out of reach of my 10 month old and 3 year old. The Harmony Hub stays below the TV, and the IR blaster controls most of my AV devices.

Extention cable arrived in time, quality excellent, fits my Canon dslr cable remote perfectly. I used this item for a fum photo booth, where the people could take their own pictures via the cable remote at the end of this extention cable, plugged into my camera. Worked just fine

I tried to extend the Sony IR Blaster cable from a new Sony Bravia TV. This cable does not work because the interface size is too small, despite the faulty product description. Into the trash it went...

Works exactly as described. I used these to extend some Logitch Harmony Hub IR eyes and despite the Harmony ones being mono they still work with these cables.
