Excellent, but I expected nothing less from Bose
I'm giving this five stars, but what do you expect? It's a Bose speaker, of course it'll sound incredible. I love the colour too and glad I waited all these years to get one that is USB-c. I do wish they still provided the cradle for it but you can pick them up separately.

Quality of sound reproduction and thump!
If you are investing in a small mobile speaker... look no further this is the benchmark.The size, the finish of the product and the quality of sound.... it un-comparable.It is almost impossible to believe that for the size of this product, it could create this full bodied sound.There are a few issues, like the speed of connection, the lack of connectivity to BOSE application and not able to use AirPlay or able to use it in tandem. But none of them are showstoppers.You cannot go wrong with this purchase!

perfect sound, clear but suddenly stops charging without any reason. Its expensive but the function doesnt last

The best Sounds
This is my first Bose SM II and I was so amazed of the superb sound quality it makes. Watching movies feels like I'm on a cinema. I waited for the Amazon white friday sale just to grab this and here I have it.. Thanks Amazon No.#1.

incredible sound but no wifi means it does not work with Google Home
For the size of this device, the sound is incredible and it is sad we cannot keep it. the The product description mentions google assistant which I took as it would be compatible with Google home however Google home requires the speaker to access wifi, sadly.We could have coped with just wifi but the bluetooth range was weak and it lost connection when I went upstairs.In all, the speaker quality has convinced me to stick with bose and buy a speaker with wifi instead - so they ended up with an upsell!
