Works when it works
These are easy to install and easy to get working. The Integration with Alexa was easy, making it easy to get messages when the status of a sensor changes. The only problem I had was that when one of them stopped working, I didn't know about it. The battery went dead, but the app showed 44%. Another sensor that is used regularly is still at 61%, so I didn't expect one on a door that rarely opens to have dead batteries despite the app showing me that the batteries are good. These show up as connected to WiFi when they need to show that something opened or closed, and then almost immediately after that, the device disconnects. I don't know if the app uses battery data that it gets sent when something opens or closes and a signal needs to be sent, or whether the device wakes up on its own every now and then to report its battery status. If it's not the latter, it would explain why the app never knew that the batteries were dead and never told me that it hadn't gotten any data from the device. If the system can't determine that it lost contact with the device for an extended period, and there's no timestamp from when the battery was last checked, you can't rely on these. If the timestamp is supposed to be the one from when something last opened or closed, that's worthless because it effectively means no reporting at all for a door or window that is almost never opened.

It works and it is inexpensive...
I ordered this to replace another Tuya wifi one that recently broke. While this one is shorter and fatter, it seems to work about this same. Note that if your door hinges are on the right when facing the inner door and you put it on the left, the device logo will be upside down as the magnetic switch is only on the one side. The wifi signal strength seems to be better than the other one as it paired much more easily than the one it replaced. The only real drawback is that this one did not include the two AA batteries that are required per device, though the battery compartment is easier to open than the old one was. If the batteries last as long, it may eventually be a five star purchase.I am rating these four stars. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

No trabaja con Alexa o Google Home.
Lo nesitaba para la seguridad de las puertas pero no articula con Alexa , y por tanto no pude hacer nada con ellos para activar alguna señal de aviso sonora o luminica. Me desiluciono. Gracias.

Setup Is Easy, Works… but…
First off the product does what it says it does and alerts my phone when the door opens and closes. Easy to setup using Smart Life Home and then add routines (such as verbal warnings, lights flashing, and call for help if needed etc) in Alexa. But… I ordered a 2 pack and received a single door sensor with a sticker that said 2 pack. Amazon sent a replacement which also said 2pack on it but just contained one device… which was fine because I already had one in the original order. But… if you order a 2 pack, expect to get one and then have to contact Amazon support and wait for the second device. Someone mislabeled/barcoded the multipack.

Help keep track of your kids and peace of mind for sleeping with a cracked window, too.
I really like this style of security sensor because I use these to make sure my teens aren’t sneaking out. And they work! This particular sensor is a little larger and thicker. The plastic is less brittle than others I purchased and I really like that it has a tamper alarm so I get notifications if they are trying to remove it. Oh, and it tells you if it is still open. Download an app (I use SmartLife) for smart home devices and add the sensors. Once you attach this and the two sides are lined up, turn on the notifications and you are good to go. I set the window notification alarm sound on an obnoxious one to hear if the window is opened and the door is a bit less but still audible. Also, this can help you sleep easy if you sleep with an opened window. Place the sensors lined up with the window open to the position you prefer and set the notifications to an alarm that will wake you and scare an intruder away.Know if your kids get into things they shouldn’t: alcohol cabinet, your room, fridge... even on a cabinet for the dog cabinet so it tracks when he was fed and walked.

App and Device works as advertised. Have issues in the Alexa App.
I was able to successfully connect the sensor device to the Smart Life app. It took several tries, yet it was successful.I set the app to message me when the door opens or closes. I verified multiple times the device is communicating to the App.I was able to successfully link the Smart Life app to the Alexa app in Skills. I was able to add the device to the Alexa app, named “Pantry.” When I open the pantry door, I can the device change state, Open and Close.I created a routine to turn on a light (my pantry light) when the device opens. A separate routine when the door closes. The intent is to turn on the pantry light on/off when the door opens/closes.The routine does not work. The door opens/closes, nothing happens. I verified the device is being recognized in the Alexa app, no issues. I continue to see the device repot open/closed as expected. However, the routine is not working. In my opinion, the device works as expected, the Smart Like app recognizes the device and acts accordingly. The issue, in my opinion the Alexa app has a bug.Working with Alexa tech support did not resolve the issue. Not sure what I am going to do at this point.
