SPANX SPANXsculpt Power Series Mid-Thigh Short - Core Shapewear - Lightweight, All-Day Shaping & Support

I am 5'4", 185 lbs., 44" bust, 37" waist, 44" hips, a 36H, and usually opt for an L in shapewear. I got an XL and L in these in the cafe au lait color, and it fit great everywhere for the most part. The XL was the better size. The color was great for the semi-tan white skin I have; most colors are so pale that they show through which these didn't. My only issues were that it is a little long for my torso (came right up to the base of my boobs) which caused it to roll down, and it almost felt like tearing when pulling them up and down. The nice thing is that the torso being too long was basically remedied by adjusting it to not be pulled up as high, and this didn't cause it to wrinkle at all. Highly recommend!!

I don't usually write reviews on products, but I thought this might help a fellow bride to be one day. I had been looking tirelessly for some heavy-duty shapewear to wear under my very unforgiving crepe wedding dress. I found these and ordered them along with a few different pairs to try. As someone who has owned their fair share of Spanx, I'll admit I ALMOST didn't even try these on when I took them out of the bag. I felt the material and immediately thought there is no way something this soft and lightweight is going to disguise what 6 months of quarantine has done to this plump body. I must have been feeling uncharacteristically optimistic because against my better judgment, I shimmied into these babies and prayed for a miracle. I hesitantly approached my full-length mirror, and HOT DAMN there was no turning back. Every lump, bump, pudge, and dimple was magically smoothed over, and I didn't feel like I would pass out at any given moment if I were to wear them for an extended period of time. The built-in "hiney shaper" that is meant to give you two distinct cheeks might be my favorite part of these bad boys. It seems as though all of my other shapewear gives you a firm derriere, but at the price of having one enormous butt cheek with no definition. The top did roll down a little, but I believe that has more to do with me refusing to go a size up than the actual product itself. There is a seam that runs down the back of each leg, so make a note of that if you're wearing something skin tight. I would not have noticed it but for turning around in the mirror-I couldn't feel it at all. Shout out to the Spanx team for making these. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried these on, and I would encourage anyone looking for a product like this to give these a try.

Wore this under a wideleg, low back jumpsuit for added tummy control. It fit nice and definitely holds ya in! The waist band was pretty high, like high-waisted pants, so I had to be cautious with the low back. They did roll a little if I bent over, but other than that they stayed in place! The seams at my thighs were a little tight too, but worked with my outfit.

I actually loved these but they rip easily and they are definitely my size. Your nails go right through them. They have multiple runs through the butt, which you obviously adjust when putting them on. I’m unable to return bc the window has closed and I just wore them for the first time. So heads up

It's more compression than you would expect for the thickness, which I appreciate as I'm sensitive to overheating. No double panels and such. Soft and stretchy. I don't know why but this ran really small for me -- I'm a Small on the Spanx size chart but even sizing up twice to size L the waistband cuts in and rolls down whenever I bend. Seems like an unavoidable effect of 1. no grips/silicone on a thin waistband, and 2. the position on my lower ribs will make it slip under them when I move by rolling down It's the cheapest high-compression option from Spanx. Would be great if they offered a wider waistband with silicone grips. Of all the different compression levels and styles of shorts Spanx offers, this is literally the only one I've come across that has no silicone grips on the waist... I appreciate the lack of double gusset. That was super uncomfortable for me, maybe because I'm transmasc and use T. I also tried Oncore but the thick bonded panels + double gusset were super uncomfortable and I quickly overheated.

Easy to wear

I bought these for my mom. She has had hip pain ever since she had a hip replacement. She doesn’t have any complaints about these (4 pairs). She gives them 5 stars.

Where to begin? Hated it! Let me begin by saying this product is either not a genuine Spanx product, or, Spanx has definitely, severely, declined in quality and craftsmanship. This product is the cheapest, thinnest, itchiest material I have ever encountered. I could not imagine wearing this shape wear - on my skin - for ANY length of time. Period. Worse feeling than 100% wool. Next, I don’t like feeling like 10lbs of sausage in a 5lb casing so I order larger sizes. I FIND FEWER THINGS MORE UNCOMFORTABLE AND, frankly, painful than cramming myself in something that compresses my organs into a Flat Stanley (google it). As you can see from the attached photos, an old pair of spandex (xl) compared to the ‘new’ (1xl) pair. The quality and material difference is obvious. And then there’s the sizing. 🙄. The old XL pair is 15” across and the 1X pair is barely 10”. I do realize that different product models can vary in numerous ways however the sizing should be somewhat standard! A 5’” difference in the waste is hard to prepare for when ordering on Amazon. Just a terrible product all around. I do not recommend for quality, for construction, for comfort. Other than all that there fine.
