Perfect for that second shotgun barrel - nice that it is not full length or width. To the reviewer who stated this was not full length please remember one can always "Google" the product to find a full description. I will grant that the description is not clear but I searched and found this specifically as a storage "sock" for the second barrel for my shotgun (rifle or smooth).I got what I wanted here - avoid all the excessive fabric of a full sock when storing a second barrel.

After reading this in the description, "...for years of worry-free storage for all sizes and types of firearms", I assumed the case would be long enough to store a rifle or shotgun in. No, it is not. The case is about 4 inches wide and less than 2 feet long (pkg says 21").If you are looking for something to store a rifle or shotgun in, keep looking...this definitely isn't it.

My safe is full so I can't get my coach gun in there without breaking it down. The barrel slide into this perfectly to protect it when I place it in the safe between my other long guns.
