Product: The product (CI griddle) quality is amazing and robust. It is made of cast iron and very heavy in material. No joints make it much stronger. It was easy to use on electric stove and most ideal for Dosa preparation. the griddle gets no time to get hot and prepares dosa instantly. It is made in USA and the quality is great. Must buy for indoor and outdoor cooking purpose. Delivery and Packaging: The product was shipped by Amazon.ae. I purchased the product yesterday (4 PM) evening and I received it today morning (9 AM). Super fast prime service. The product did not have any brand packaging though, it came in a very protective bubble wrap and carton box. Thank you Amazon.ae

It is a great product which i use for making dosas. Fantastic build quality. However the handle is not heat protected, so will need to be careful when using. Wonder why they have it? Not useful for those not used to wearing gloves.

Thank you Amazon for the great exchange policy; the griddle is super; no need to season it, just follow t instructions( wipe it clean and apply a thin layer of oil ), exactly as smooth as non stick! Happy purchase ☺️

Recently purchased the Lodge pre-seasoned Cast griddle iron round pan 10.5 inch. Was very excited when Amazon delivered the product to me. The pan looks very nice and strong. When you pick it up, you realize it is very heavy, as it should be. I wanted to try it out at the earliest, so for breakfast I greased the pan with some clarified butter and fried an egg. The egg base did get stuck on the pan, will have to research some more on how to use the pan. Despite this, the egg had cooked beautifully and had a very unique taste which we don’t get from the usual non-stick Teflon pans. The pan is really flat, the clarified butter did not run on to any sides as happens with my other pans. And the heating is very even across the pan and I noticed that the heat retention is for a long period after the heat was switched off. Remember not to touch the handle without protection – it is as hot as the cooking surface. Overall am very happy with this purchase. The weekend looks set for making some pancakes.

the OG of cast iron pans. While it is mentioned as pre-seasoned, it will take a few rounds of seasoning to get it working, don't get frustrated. When it does, it is as good as a non stick. I use it for crisp, restaurant style dosas, adai, pancakes and street style bread omlette. Throw out your non-stick and get this bad boy for your kitchen. Its heavy and needs a little bit of extra care, but very very well worth it. I liked it so much, bought one more which i use only for roti and chapathis

It is rusted right from 1st wash and cannot even make dosas on them. Very heavy and does not serve the purpose.

It is really very handy to prepare pancakes as well as dosas. the first two times it was sticking a bit, but after a couple of nice seasoning, it's working perfectly. I wish it comes with the handle holder( silicon), now my family has got rid of non-stick pancake griddle. I am looking to buy another one asap.

This was the first cast iron girdle I have used and I must say I’m converted. I think I’m gonna buy all the range of it. It’s the perfect non stick pan without the coating. I had moved away from non stick pans for a long time due to the issues of Teflon coating coming off. And relied on normal heavy duty pans. This one was already seasoned so didn’t have to go through the complete process. I totally love it. It’s worth the buy.
