As described, sturdy and well made
As described, easy to open and adjust, the claws have a sponge so it doesn't damage the phone.After put in place is very sturdy and doesn't move at all. The "open" switch on the back doesn't look as well made but overall is working well and I'm happy with it.

Did the job
Needed a way to support a tablet in order to video a piano recording for a grade exam. Instructions were very specific about angle and position (feet to be visible because pedals weren't to be used, etc), and it was very difficult to accomplish this. But with the tripod adapter, and the tripod we'd had for ages, the task was accomplished very quickly, easily and successfully. If using a phone or tablet to take a photo or make a video using a tripod, this item is ideal. It can also be used without a tripod but that wasn't why we purchased it.

Does the job perfectly
I wanted a mount for using my iPad for Zwift on my a tripod while using my road bike on my turbo trainer. This works perfectly. Cheap price but decent quality. Adjusts for different sizes of tablets and can be moved to any angle. Obviously you need a tripod to mount it on. Great value.

For a great stop motion creation
Stop motion!!! Stop motion means the camera must be still at all times! 6 year old twins and an iPad means this won't happen! Add in the little beauty they created the most amazing stop motion rabbit scene today!! And .... Even they could fit it on to the tripod

It was good item only went by the pictures & other people's reviews not the product description as l thought it came with the stand but you need to purchase a tripod stand separately the holder was well made
