Okay, first off the cover is very nice and I love it. It fits tightly but perfectly on a standard hardcover 4th edition Big Book. While it is NOT leather, it's some ilk of vinyl, and there is a leather like material lining the cover. The simulated leather grain embossing is aesthetically nice. I love the apropos "Survival Guide" embossing on the cover. I really have been searching for a Big Book cover that wasn't covered in slogans or symbols, just something plain and nondescript; this is that cover! You could leave a Big Book with this cover on your desk at work and barring someone picking it up and opening the book, no one would have a clue as to what the book was. The closure is simple but works well. I choose the free shipping and my order was commingled with other Amazon fulfilled items, but even so, the cover shipped promptly and I received it in just a couple of days. I was quite impressed that Carsonial sent me an email letting me know that my cover had shipped. What was specifically impressive about that email, was that it was just genuinely nice, and showed real concern for their customer's satisfaction. The email _wasn't_ a shameless plug begging for a positive review before I even received the product. (I see that a lot, and I can't stand those emails) This was really one of my best buying experiences with a quality product, at a good price, and genuinely pleasant customer service. So, hats off to Carsonial! Keep up the great work guys, because you're doing this right.

This cover is not bulky at all. Very tight fit. I was skeptical that it might be too masculine for me, but that is not the case. As another person wrote, this cover is so much nicer than the plastic looking "pleather" covers out there. I am not a fan of the double covers at all as that is way too bulky for me. If you cannot afford to spend big bucks for a genuine leather BB cover, this one is the best I have seen. I had to Google "bicast leather" to see what that meant. I was worried that the writing on the front "Survival Guide" would be too pronounced, however the wording blends right in and does NOT stand out. From eye distance to table I cannot see anything except a brown cover with white stitching. I am really happy with this purchase. I have bought two other covers and ended up giving them away because honestly I did not really like them because they added too much bulk. This one is padded (but just a little) and very soft. I am willing to bet that it might tear over time since the leather is very thin however if cared for properly maybe that will not be the case.This item was shipped promptly and arrived in great condition sooner than the promised delivery date.Don't hesitate to purchase this cover. The price is great comparatively speaking.

I was so excited to find an AA Book cover with an ambiguous title. I can take the book anywhere and it is only my business what I am reading. The quality is top notch and fits the book perfect. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend this to anyone who desires a cover for their book so that they may read where ever they like.

Nice looking product but does not fit the Big Book. Item is too small and does not allow the book to fully close.

Fits a little tight, but it's leather so I expect that it will stretch out with more use. Fits my Big Book perfectly though. There was a weird line on the leather, but I suspect that it's just how it was tanned.

Looks great, feels nice and was very reasonably priced. Bought this as a gift for my sponsor and he was very pleased. At first, I didn't like the embossing on the outside but my sponsor got a kick out of it when I gave it to him. I took it to a local store to get embossed but they told me it would burn the material so they did an engraving on a metal tag that I was able to stick on the bottom front with my sponsor's first name and last initial on it to make it custom for him. I think it came out nicely and it turned out being a nice token of my appreciation to him for the guidance and help he so freely gave me through this journey.
