Yes it comes with a USB port. You provide the power bank and cable. You store the power bank inside the backpack, connect it to the port and then hook your phone and cable to the port.

compared to the extra large makeup case, does it fit the same amount/is the same size?

Imagine the top layer of the xl didn't exist but was included in the depth of the backpack. It has a smaller Length and width but deeper. The outer pockets are narrow. It will hold less but it really depends on how you condense. It has clips on the outside to support the zipper so overall a better option of carrying for long distance.

I have the bag I just need to buy the dividers? Please help

It comes with dividers but I used plastic ones from a drawer organizer.

Does the large come with dividers or do you have to purchase the large with dividers?

This one is the regular large, it doesn’t come with the dividers, you will have to purchase them separately. Amazon do have the large with the plastic dividers though.
