Premier Protein Premier Caramel High Protein Shake, 11 Fl Oz (Pack of 15)

Absolutely delicious!! I am VERY glad I discovered these Premier High Protein shakes. I am trying to alter my diet, because I'm going to be starting a GLP1, (got it fully approved for my severe obstructive sleep apnea).. & everything I read up about it said "protein & fiber" are super important. So I found these, and they're *reasonably* priced (considering inflation has caused everything to skyrocket!) So yes, they're a tad expensive...BUT much healthier to use these in my morning iced coffee rather then sugar loaded caramel creamer, which is what I am doing. Honestly, it's not bad at all. I think protein shakes have come a very long way.. and it shows. Some protein shakes are chalky, some have that icky aftertaste, but not these IMO. And I would be the first to tell you if they were.. that's why I'm writing the review, so others can take the jump & just buy them. They're SO good for you, and actually taste quite good. They're very filling! I put almost half one in my coffee.. and it basically curved any minor cravings I may have, for hours. I'm not a breakfast person, and due to medical issues & dental issues.. my diet is pretty weak! So I must certainly need the protein.. and these are it!! 100% Buy worthy!! Even at their regular pricing.. I believe their worth it. It's sad it is so expensive to try and be "healthy", but we do what we gotta do.. right? Our health is all we got to keep us going.. so it has to be our #1 priority! Overall.. the caramel flavor is DEFINTELY good! Texture isn't too thick, not too watery, no gritty/icky-ness, & no gross after taste.. & they work great as a creamer replacement. No sugar, no fat, high protein = BUY!

These are my favorite protein shakes. They taste great, have a nice high protein content, don’t give me a stomachache, and make a nice iced coffee beverage. I drink my protein coffee in the morning and it keeps me full until my next meal. Being on a glp-1 has made it difficult to get enough protein because I’m just not hungry anymore and this has been really helpful for me.

These are my husband's protein shakes, and he really enjoys the Caramel flavor! They're a convenient way for him to get extra protein, and we keep buying them. Very happy with this purchase!

I used premier during my preop diet and lost 22lbs in a month, before even receiving the surgery. The shakes are thick enough to fill you but not too thick which I love. I did 2 shakes a day and 1 meal (high protein/nonstarchy veggies). After surgery I couldn’t stomach them anymore (the surgery can change your taste). I switched to the powders for a moment and now I’m back to the shakes almost 4-5 months later. I’ve tried a multitude of flavors and here’s my honest breakdown of the shakes: Chocolate PB: amazing! Taste JUST like a reesecup milkshake!! If you want something that masks the protein taste, this went well for me. 8/10. 9/10 on a good day. Cinnamon roll: I will be obsessing over it these for a while until I get sick of these too lol. Literally tastes like the milk left after eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Elite. My number 1. 10/10 Cake batter: this flavor was fine at first but extremely sweet to me with a strange protein back flavor. I got sick of it FAST. I mixed these with caramel or chocolate to force my mind to knock it down but I’m also a bit dramatic lol. 6.5/10 Vanilla: I knew better but decided to give it a try and my brain and body rejects this. When shakes were too sweet, I used vanilla to lighten them up a bit but vanilla is even a bit much for it to be vanilla too. Vanilla protein powder from premier was much better imo. No rating. Chocolate: the easiest one to purchase and knock back to get it over with. Pretty hard to mess up chocolate lol. 9.5/10 Cookies and cream: it’s not disgusting, but it was a let down. I definitely think my expectations killed the reality of the drink. I don’t taste a piece of cookie nor a smidget of cream lol. It tastes like someone got dirt in chocolate milk and tried to filter and sell it still. No rating because I’ve been avoiding the box for a week or so. I may update this flavor. In the future. Caramel: delicious! Slightly odd after taste but does not outweigh the caramel flavor. I mixed these with chocolate or vanilla to spruce it up and it was pleasant. 9/10 Powders: vanilla is delicious. Coffee is odd (by itself), chocolate was also odd on its own. Free game vanilla+chocolate tasted like a Wendy’s frosty. Chocolate+coffee= McDonalds frappe. Hoping this helps! I’m someone who is more of a salt over sugar person. I don’t dislike sweets but I can be a bit judgier about them. Premier overall has been really good to/for me.

Getting protein is hard, and as we age AARP and doctors say we need even more protein. UT Southwestern Emergency Room Hospital's Dietician said my 160 pound, 80-year-old mom needs 68g of protein daily when bedridden and AARP recommends as much as 90g of protein a day when she is able to get around. Ensure MAX Protein drinks have been a savior with just 150 calories, 25 vitamins & minerals and 30g of protein! Trying to get 90g of protein a day into a person who eats like a bird is nearly impossible without this product!! To determine which flavor(s) she/I liked, we bought different 4 packs and did taste tests. Once we worked out that the best flavor to us unrefrigerated was strawberry, I began ordering them with auto-ship through Amazon for the convenience of arriving on my doorstep without having to track quantities. This also saved me from the headache of the local retail stores all having empty shelves of the good flavors! We have found over time that serving them chilled does improve the flavor. I prefer strawberry flavor if room temperature or refrigerated, while she wants some variety, so I've expanded to offer refrigerated strawberry, milk chocolate and French vanilla. Refrigerated she prefers milk chocolate and unrefrigerated she prefers strawberry. However, she does not want to drink the same flavor every day, so I keep a 'Neapolitan' of flavors in our fridge door for her: creamy strawberry, French vanilla and milk chocolate. Not getting enough protein does have health consequences. I kept trying to tell her eating like she was and only drinking one Ensure MAX Protein a day was not enough protein. She needed/needs 2 a day. Despite 2x weekly physical therapy for 2 hours, she kept getting weaker. Finally, her physical therapist asked if she was getting enough protein because she kept getting weaker. Please learn from our mistake and be sure to get enough protein. It is extra hard to have to make up for the loss of muscle that happens from trying to build strength but not having the proper fuel in your body. I feel very badly for my mom, and 'I told you so' is not satisfying as now I watch her struggle with extra weakness. THIS IS A LIFE CHANGER PRODUCT!! Also love that it is only 150 calories, so it isn't packing on the pounds at the same time as providing protein. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CREAMY STRAWBERRY ENSURE MAX PROTEIN!! I hope this review helps someone else.

These are my favorite protein shakes on the market. They don’t have that gritty texture or weird after taste. I use a little in my coffee as creamer or make an iced protein coffee using the shake and a shot of espresso over ice. Convenient to throw in a bag or take on the go!

This is by far my favorite flavor of fruit and drink. These updated containers hold a little bit more than the old carton container, containers, they’re recyclable, and they just make a great snack or breakfast. The texture is creamy and the consistency means that it’s a very great taste. These multi packs are also a great value for the money.

This has the best flavor and offers a lot of protein. Highly recommend!
