Works great!
I used this in my garden this spring, since I need to plant everything in containers. Contaminated soil from years of industry in the area, and this stuff makes LOTS of "soil" from the small packages received. I ordered two and have only opened one so far. I'm glad I watched a video about them, or would have most likely put it in a too-small container before adding water. I actually just set the container outside, and when we had rain every day for a week, this was ready to use! :-) So it has no chlorinated water in it to start my plants. As well as this stuff works, I may well have a bigger garden next year!!

How big
I took the cube and put it in a plastic container but it rose shockingly when adding water. Almost like foam!. I then put it on a tarp and flaked it apart while adding additional water then mixed with some composted material perlite worm castings and biochar.

Excellent Coconut Coir!
I reconstituted this and was able to use it the next day with no salinity problems. The package says this bale will make 14 gallons of coir but I got almost 17 out of the first bale. I used it for seed germination for my garden and everything except the snap dragons, germinated perfectly. It mixes well with my soil mix and remains light and fluffy after mixing with no 'crust' on the top of the soil after watering. The seller was communicative when I had a question about the product.

Good seller - product is what they claim.
What they claim. Each block packed in separate packing as you would expect. Will buy again.

First time to buy and use coir
What I liked about this brick was being able to cut off/break off the amount I wanted while the rest stayed compressed and stowable. When you add water, it decompresses and makes a great medium for starting seeds and keeping them growing until you plant in place. Very pleased with its performance and will likely buy again because of ease of use.It did at times have a musty odor that concerned me for how it might affect the seedlings, but there was never an issue.I have no clue about the value for money. I didn't keep track of how much it made.

This was my first time
I don't really know a lot about I should have expected with this product this was my first time purchasing it. There were a lot of rocks and twigs that I didn't expect but it works for my purpose.

Worth the money
I bought this to grow my microgreens. It's expands nicely, however there is a strong plasticy smell. It dissapears after a while, not sure if it's just from being stored inside the plastic.I cut the brick with a saw so I don't have to expand the entire amount.Microgreens have grown nicely.
