The stretch is perfect for the fabric, not so much that it’s overly tight but enough that it isn’t baggy or shapeless. My dancer typically wears a women’s small but I ordered a medium and this fits very well, with just enough room to allow for a bit of growth before needing to size up. For those with very narrow shoulders or a more petite frame, I would suggest sticking with your usual sizing, otherwise, one size up is probably a good rule of thumb for this particular product.
