It works!!!!
Cost is great the product works! I've used this before it's very effective. Not the best smell if you get close but doesn't smell up the house. I've caught a significant amount in 12 hours. Cleaning it out is easy. Works for days. Make sure you put boiling water down your drains this helps in case they are living in there and take out your trash daily. Living down south these things can and will infest your house fast. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with this problem. The picture is less than 12 hours and the bottom has plenty of them in it.

It works!!!
Some of the reviews had me skeptical, but happy to share that I am very pleased with this product. I was a bit worried when I first set it out, there were a LOT of fruit flies sitting on TOP of the apples; but after the first night, there were just as many INSIDE the apples. After two nights, it has amassed a significant collection and there are significantly less flying around. It initially doesn’t smell the best but it’s not a lingering smell, just light a nice fall candle to quickly offset it. They are small and not unappealing, easy to place. Definitely worth the “investment.”

Worth buying
I've tried 4 things so far on amazon, so far these worked the best for my fruit fly problem, but not as much as i would like.

Does an okay job at catching fruit flys
We wanted a fruit fly trap because recently we have been seeing a ton of fruit flies in the house. It has been a hot summer so that likely played a big part in that. We had this for a couple of weeks now and it does catch some fruits flies (we saw a few inside) but not as well as we were expecting as we will see a lot more flying around. The solution that comes with this trap is likely not strong enough to attract the fruit flies. My mom recommended adding apple cider vinegar to see if that will, let's see how that works out.

Work well for fruit flies, not fungus gnats
These are a nice little option to help if you have a fruit fly problem. You can refill with apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap. I have seen them used in bars where the fruit flies are attracted to the sugars in the liquors. Especially nice since they don’t look like they are hanging out due to a bug issue 😳. Not so great for fungus gnats around your plants so if that’s your problem don’t bother with this.

Misleading and Disappointing
I ordered the Terro 2-pack fly trap expecting to receive two ready-to-use traps. Instead, I received a box with only one container inside—and it was completely empty! No fly trap solution, no second trap, nothing. Total waste of money and time. Very misleading product packaging and poor quality control. I do not recommend this to anyone.

It works
It doesn’t work immediately but over the past few days the fruit fly population in our kitchen is about gone. Looking in the trap there are at least 50 of the little buggers floating on the attractant.I suspect, those people who say the trap doesn’t work or not actually dealing with fruit flies. They’re dealing with gnats.I’m buying a second package to store just in case.

Works as advertised.
I had fruit flies that invaded my room, and I would be accosted daily with little dots hovering around my face day and night. This product cleared them up within days. The one thing to keep in mind is the bait does smell of rotting apples in it's immediate vacinity, so keep some scented air spray handy. But, if you keep the traps across the room, you can barely smell it. The trap does catch and drown the fruit flies in the bait, as it's essentially a scented oil container with holes, by the second day there were tons in the apple and none in the air. 5/5
