I should have gotten this ages ago. I work from home and am on a lot of video calls. This light is amazing. I love that you can adjust the brightness and warmth of the light. It is small but works perfect for a video call at your desk. Super easy to assemble and easy to attach to your laptop.

UPDATE:The first version of this was definitely a failure, but after reading a little more online, realized you can't plug into a laptop USB. This must be plugged into a docking station or some other higher power source. Once I did that, it continues to function.I liked this light for the simplicity and the price. I wanted something to clip to my monitor for calls. Works great until it doesn't. Just like the previous one I purchased, it started to fail after a few months. You turn it on and it only stays on for a few seconds. Then, once you can get it to stays, it turns off unexpectedly. Finally, it just stops working altogether. Won't be purchasing this brand/style again as it's beginning to add up. Will search for a less generic, more reputable brand next time.

I needed a good ring light to assist in providing light in the foreground for online professional meetings. This light has several settings to vary from bright LED to soft light, depending on the needs of the user, and the lighting is very natural and even, so it does not distract from the meeting or conversation. The light is extremely easy to set up (it just clips to the computer monitor and plugs in to the USB port for power). I highly recommend this to anyone just needing a simple but effective product that is also inexpensive.

One value of a ring light is that it conveniently lights from multiple 'sources' all in one fixture, one light, and the advantage of that is to soften shadows. This light is too small to do that well - it's more like a single bulb. I put a scrim over it to help soften the light.Otherwise, it does a good job of providing a variety of brightness and color options, letting me match my daylight-balanced main video lights, or my warm desk lights.It is very light weight. The clamp mount works well, and the ball gimbal lets me 'aim' the light where I want to.I've been using it for a few years now, with no trouble.
