The outside of my laptop had paint splattered all over it which I wasn’t able to remove. It was really bad. I bought this skin thinking it was only the outside I was getting, but was pleasantly surprised to see I received 2 additional pieces for the palm rest. It fit perfectly on the cover with only minor trims where the back hinges are. The inside only required trimming on the left side. I am soo pleased with the results. The cost was around $10 and shipping was super fast. Really worth it and I’m so happy my laptop looks so nice now.

I had purchased a laptop for my daughter-in-law’s birthday. After cutting to size ( I had purposely ordered larger than what I needed) I used my cutting matching to cut out her name on heat transfer glitter vinyl and very carefully heat pressed it on before applying to the laptop. Came out great and sticks as expected. I am sure she will love it.

Very pretty design, and decently thick, but thats about the end of the good. I found it difficult to install, my laptop has rounded corners and this is square, I traced the top of mt laptop and it didn't cut well. Also, ive had it on a couple weeks now and it seems to be made for someone who just leaves their laptop on a desk and thats it. Putting it in my briefcase and just carrying it around it is starting to peel around the edges and won't stick back down.

This did not fit my 15.6 inch laptop right even though it was advertised that it would. And if they expect us to cut it down to our laptop size then I'm never buying this again. Its impossible to make this look pretty if its not the right size for your laptop. I just wasted 10 bucks

It is in now way SHEER! It is thick, protective and well made. It almost has a “leather” look to it. I got it cut down installed on my hp envy 15.6 laptop fairly easy and my husband finished off the edges with a straight razor. There was plenty of extra space for mistakes, so cut bug and size it down as needed. Very pleased with this purchase.

Yes, when you get this product, it will be much bigger than your laptop- that's by design. The maker purposely gives you a lot of product so that the larger piece will definitely cover the top of your laptop, as you can see in the first picture, & will also give you plenty of extra material to add to the two additional pieces that the company provides for the inside of your laptop. If you trim the large piece carefully, then between the two additional pieces the company provides & the leftover product from trimming the large piece to the right size for your laptop, you can decorate the entire interior of a 2020 MacBook Air, as shown in the second picture. I ordered the "Shining Stars" pattern & I just love it. It coordinates perfectly with my Case Star Ocean Series keyboard cover & matches perfectly with my office's overall design aesthetic. It was easy to use, easy to re-position, & yet sticks amazingly well. "Shining Stars" gets 5 stars from me!

The media could not be loaded.  This product is exactly as described. The skin sticker has a great thickness, yet it was very easy to cut and apply to my laptop. I even took the extra stickers and applied them to my mouse pad and spacebar.

Pros: covers up old/ugly/scratched up laptops with great images.Cons: (lost 1 star on easy to install) It would’ve been a bit easier with cutting guides with the inches/centimeters marked as well in regards to the laptop size since it needs to be cut down because of the fact that if it is overlapping just a tiny bit AFTER applying, then needing the sticky part to be lifted up again to be recut. The turnout of recutting the sticky decal already applied is a jagged edge. Luckily on my old laptop the colors blended in ok so that it is hardly noticeable.Other than that, I would recommend it as a great “coverup”! Just be doubly careful when cutting it out to fit. Make sure it doesn’t overlap too far. 😉
