TheraSpecsWrap Glasses for Light Sensitivity

Very helpful
Love the wrap design, my migraines would calm down when wearing, made the difference of me leaving work a few times. Unfortunately I lost them and they are very expensive. Would love to see a wrap design that is more business oriented as it looks like wearing sunglasses inside. Regular flat glasses don't block light from the periphery. Otherwise excellent product. Wish I could afford to buy extras. Would love if they were transitions lenses as well.

Game changer.
Started working in an extremely bright fluorescent warehouse environment recently and would be more or less spun out by the intense blue light by about 9-10am. Energy drop, almost dizzy, really awful stuff. After listening to Dr. Jack Kruse (his life’s work is on light and the effects it has on our mitochondria) and considering my options I found these to be the most viable way of enduring this job and maintaining sanity. Let me just say I am so thankful these exist. They look the part of safety glasses but I’m going to reach and call them sanity glasses. My workplace feels 100% more humane and I’ve noticed improved mood, focus and over all well being since wearing these. I haven’t tried other FL-41 glasses but Theraspecs claims to be more effective than generic brands of that Lense type. These are spendy but the old adage might hold strong- you get what you pay for and all I can say is that these work, and they work well. Thank you Theraspecs!

Worked at first.
These worked well at first, then I began to have my light sensitivity headaches again. To ensure it was in fact that thd glasses were not working for me, I put on a different companies glasses & they worked great they were just a shape that I didn't like. Maybe it's just my eyes. Unfortunately this was a lot of money, wasted.

Just what I needed
Due to bright light at my work, I’ve had to wear a hat and sunglasses just to survive the day. Although sunglasses strained my eyes working on my computer, they were better than not wearing them. Recently, the situation was made worse when they replaced the lights with brighter LEDs. I was desperate to try anything that might help. These glasses aren’t as dark as sunglasses which makes indoor work possible for me. They areaway too light for outdoor use (note the company does have a version for outdoors). These do a good job blocking off light from above and from the side which I knew the other styles wouldn’t help with. Not the most stylish but definitely the most comfortable I’ve tried. Plastic frames but no mold seam so they are quite light and no weird sharp pressure points that other plastic frames tend to have. The glasses even come with a case. They are refundable if you don’t like them, so no risk to try them.

These are a job saver!
My employer installed led cool white lights in my work area. Needless to say my eyes couldn't tolerate them. The lights gave me a slew of symptoms. Headaches, nausea, dizziness, hot sweats, eye strain and swelling. Yuck! With zero sympathy from my employer, I had to find a solution on my own. I ordered these out of desperation, I needed something quick! I had these in a couple of days and started wearing these at work all day. I noticed my symptoms deminished quite quickly and I was symptom free at about the three day mark. Still to this day I am symptom free! I will be ordering a custom pair directly from them so I can have a pair of safety glasses as well. Thank you for a job saving product!! Definitely give them a try!

Recommended to try if your eyes feel strained by fluorescent light
TheraSpecs works for me, I've since changed jobs and find I no longer require them but at my previous employment the ceiling is low and has poorly designed fluorescent tube lighting producing a glaring effect straining my eyes. At my new employment the ceiling may be a little higher but the lighting is recessed with a different type of louver and the eye strain is no longer an issue. I recommend trying TheraSpecs if this is an issue for you.

Very Narrow Frame/ Caused Headache/Don't Buy
I have been having unbelievably bad eyestrain and migraines due to being on the computer with work and school, both online and full-time. The pain brought me to the ER, PCP, and Optometrist. I saw this product and thought I found the answer. I first want to say that the designs of all their glasses seem to cater to women, even though there are a couple of men wearing them, they have a feminine hint to them. On their personal website there were only a couple of options for a wider frame, as most are narrow (for women). I got the glasses, and the first thing I noticed was that the seal was broken. The lenses were a little dirty. It looked like it was returned and sent to me without even changing the box. I put on the frame and I noticed immediately that there was an intense pressure caused by the frame just bellow my temple and above my ears. I had the glasses on for 5 minutes, and it instantly gave me an intense headache. I then had a guy friend try them on to verify if it was just me. Within a few minutes of wearing them he had the same complaint. The glasses are ugly, but I was hoping that it would at least provide me with relief. I would wear anything as long as it made my headaches go away. For glasses that are overprices that are supposed to prevent headaches, it caused them. I hope that someone from the company is reading this review. Please have masculine options, as you have frames indented solely for females. Also, please make the frames wider, and flexible. It is not wise to have tight, unforgiven frames on a product intended to help with migraines. I am extremely disappointed in this product, and I’m now suffering from a bad headache as a result of the frames. If you are a male, or have a normal or larger head, this company does not cater to our demographic. I suggest looking for another company that would satisfy the demand for our needs.
