This is the best mold. As you can see the image is really good. This butterfly is porcelain. I used a little corn start and was able to release it easily.

The butterflies turn out beautiful m, however the smaller in breaks easily. I would still buy more of this product if it becomes available

Listen I hardly EVER write reviews because ain’t nobody ever got time for that. BUT, I gotta tell all of you looking to buy a butterfly mold for chocolate melts that THIS IS THE ONE.I spent helllllla money on a ton of different ones that were most commonly used for fondant and they would break my chocolate when removal time came. THIS MOLD DID NOT.It is soooooo easy to use. Sooooo easy to remove the chocolate. The butterflies are the PERFECT size. They come out sooooo pretty!Stop spending on other molds and invest in the one. TRUST ME.

They're butterflies - they're delicate. I turn the mold upside down and coax them out by bending the mold and using a tool to gently pry. You may still have to add support under the small butterfly but well worth it.

The detail on these is good, but the short depth of the mold makes the final impression extremely fragile depending on your medium. I couldn't use them for my original project idea, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.
