The Influence of the Bible on the Founding Fathers : The founding Fathers were largely considered Christian and not Deists

I'm a sucker for books on American history, especially when they showcase our founders. To me who the founders were is just as important as what they achieved.David Hill's book is perfect for folks who want to explore the personal beliefs of our most influential founders. What o love is how the author uses the founders own words to help showcase how important God was to the brave men who sacrificed so much to create our Constitutional Republic.I appreciated that the book didnt just focus on the same old founders. It was a pleasant surprise to discover the histories of several figures I had never heard of.My only wish, is that this book had been longer. I was able to read this book cover to cover in one sitting. To be fair, I read... a LOT. Perhaps a second installment is in order. (Hint, hint)I highly recommend this book, especially if you ever had any doubt about the personal faith of our American Founding Fathers.

This book has some good basic details on the founders. However, the formatting is terrible, taking up only half the page. There are many typos and areas where it seems content is missing such as an image. Referenced material is hard to tell apart from the rest of the text.

I certainly recommend this book for its content and I would hope that the information within becomes widely known. Be prepared, however, for the book's formatting which, it appears, was not done by an experienced publisher.

Well written yet simple reminder of the attitude and deep spiritual souls of our forefathers. Most everything in our consitution was tied to Judeo christian beliefs and writtian words of scholars of their time with the Bible as an overriding source. Mr. Hill captures this for us. Thank you for this book.

Interesting topic- learned some great “back stories” about the history of America’s founders.

Great read! Quick and easy read, with the succinct and astounding facts pertaining to our Founding Fathers. Now I have the knowledge and references to discuss these facts with anyone.
