I decided on this after searching around for hours.
I'm using this battery for a bike light I purchased that requires 18650 batteries, and on first pass you can see Amazon has quite a few choices, most of which end in"fire". After some extension research on reviews it seems that most of the fire batteries are of lower quality with mixed reviews on the batteries differing in size and mislabeling their MAH power output. For double the cost I decided to go with Tenergy which seems to have a reasonable MAH rating and clear reviews, and I wanted to add my experience to this.Out of the box they feel like batteries, which I guess compared to the other reviews is a good thing. They are not charged and will require you to load them into the handy Tenergy charger which feels solid and well built, a major reason I bought this. Another reason I selected these batteries at the higher price is that some of the "fire" reviews where mentioning 6 hour plus charging times and inconsistent chargers. I'm not about put energy into a battery and leave it overnight if I'm not sure of the safety or build quality of the charger or battery. For me it took about two and a half hours to go from the red indicator to the green fully charged indicator. The batteries loaded into my bike light seamlessly an powered such a high powered light that it is almost absurd. But if your riding at night in the dark you want awareness, and my light gives me that.I'll update my review later on how long they last, but so far so good. I have to take out the batteries every ride because I live in Arizona and I fear that there may be problems with 108 degree heat and an exposed battery.Overall, so far a great buy.

Always have had great luck with Tenergy products
I was told one of the reasons Tenergy batteries are so good is that they use a Panasonic core. I bought a 650 Lumen Terralux flashlight at the NRA show for $80. (Should've bought two for that price, I see they go for well over $100 online) The flashlight takes two types of batteries, the CR123A's, and the 18650. I opted to buy these since at $30 including the charger it is a far better option than to keep buying CR123's. So far, they have delivered wonderfully. On the high setting, the box says I'm supposed to get 2.5 hours of run time. I use the light 5 days a week at least and I can say I am getting far more than that. I'm going a week between charges. On a side note, I also have a Fenix TK60 which is 800 lumens. I bought Tenergy batteries for that as well and have been very pleased.

Just 1 complaint , otherwise FANTASTIC
Charger is solid and high quality. As for the batteries, what can I say? They are great. I have used 5 of them for a while now, all are great. Long life, no dimming or flickering with any flashlights. Very solid.Just one complaint, but it is easily 1000% fixable.... take a hobby knife and trim the excess green plastic on the plus and negative ends. All of my batteries had excess plastic which blocked the electrical metal to metal contact (maybe where 1 or 2 of the bad reviews came from) of course the battery won't work or charge without metal to metal contact, so trim both ends excess plastic with your hobby knife and you will be all set.Not really sure why this company can make such a good battery and then do something so obvious like putting too much plastic blocking the metal surface on both ends is beyond me.

a must buy. Highly recommended
After several attempts at other brands of these batteries and chargers this one is a steal. Our tactical flash lights take these batteries. This brand last longer than any we have owned. This charger is well built & good quality. Chargers our cheaper batteries better too. The charger alone is worth the $. Highly recommended! A must buy if you use this style of battery. We plan to buy more.

Nice for power hungry flashlights
Bought a powertac E5 flashlight a while back and wanted the option to have a pair of rechargable 18650s as well as the option of having 2 non rechargable 123 batteries. Charges fast, holds a charge. Use the flashlight regularly. I have had this setup for probably 4+ months and only charged the batteries once. If you use the flashlight on high on a daily basis it might be a different story, but with these LED lights, you get hundreds of hours even in the mid power range.

For WF-501B flash light!
Haven't used it much yet, but it powers my flash light well and the charger will not overcharge. LED on the charge turns from red to green when the batteries are ready and flashes red when the polarity of the battery is reversed. The flash light runs BRIGHT. Not sure how the battery life is yet, I will update this review if anything happens that I'm not pleased with, but so far its great. I will probably buy more of these batteries in the future.

Another Great Product
Tenergy has always provided the highest in quality and performance with their batteries. I can now say that all my airsoft AEGs and flashlight accessories are powered by them. Great buy, and well worth the two batteries and smart charger.
