GREAT LITTLE SPLITTER
The Ethernet plug on the side of our laptop became very loose from plugging in and taking out our Ethernet cable daily when we put our laptop away. Now we just leave this splitter in the Ethernet plug of the laptop and plug our Ethernet cable into it instead. It's a nice tight fit, so our laptop doesn't beep all the time now. I hope it holds up for a long time. I definitely recommend this company.

Gigabit PoE Reverted to 100mb PoE after a couple weeks
This adapter does separate power from Ethernet, but despite its gigabit design it has failed and now only operates at 100mb/s speeds. I’ll now need to buy and try another adapter that will hopefully not fail after a few weeks and maintain gigabit speeds.

Great for power / not so great for Ethernet
Purchased two of these adapters (one as a exhange for the first). Both were able to draw adequate power from a Unifi POE switch but were unable to establish an Ethernet link.

Super Gerät! Auch als reines Netzteil nutzbar!
Ich hatte das gute Stück gekauft, da ich eine Smart Home Basis mit Strom versorgen musste, diese aber nur via USB C betrieben werden kann. Glücklicherweise hatte ich an dem Standort ein Netzwerkkabel liegen, welches mit meinem PoE Switch verbunden ist.Auch ohne ein Ethernet-Client funktioniert die Stromzufuhr ohne Probleme.

Does the job as expected
Works as intended. Powers my Raspberry Pi 5 and ethernet cable works too. No complaints.Just make sure to enable PoE pass through on your switch if applicable if it doesn't turn on automatically
