I love the looks of it - and it does feel sturdy, however, since it is quite thick, I am not sure what it'll be like after using it for months.Ballpoint pens write quite good on it but the pages are not good for some fountain pens, it feels a bit rough, which is expected given that it is handmade papers but the ink flow is not good either, maybe because of the roughness only.Conclusion: Looks good, feels sturdy (at first at least), ballpoint pens write well on it but not recommended for fountain pen users.

Absolutely beautiful. I was looking for a diary/journal to take notes for my Bible study, and found this randomly and got hooked to its antique, vintage feel. The paper is thick, hand-made and has a vintage papyrus feel to it. I use a Pilot pen and ultra-fine marker to write, can't suggest a fountain pen as I don't use one. The material is sturdy, the outer cover being leather bound. I would suggest to go for it, it's a collectible kind of stuff yet easy on the pocket.

Paper quality is little bit poor. But looking as actually old pages. Binding is also good.

The journal is really beautiful and has a harry Potter feel to it to be honest. I just fell in love with it's looks, pages and the smell.. I plan on writing my poems in it and am now searching for a perfect pen.. Just buy it you guys. It's love at first sight.
