Handy little tool
Although I always get my tires checked when my oil is changed, I know it's a good idea to check the pressure once a month for safety and to prolong the life of the tire. I had been using another brand (Victor) for about a year, and I never noticed the dial didn't go back to zero when released. Maybe I dropped it, but I have no idea how long I was driving around on under-inflated tires, although they look okay and have plenty of tread. In other words, I thought I was reading 30 psi when I was actually reading 25 or less. The best thing is probably to use 2 different gauges for comparison, but make sure the needle goes all the way back to zero after the pressure is released. Learn from my mistake! So far, the Slime gauge is working fine, but I've only used it a few times. In summary, it does the job. It is easy to read and holds the pressure until you press the release button. It's small enough to keep in a glove box, but I keep it in my trunk. It looks sturdy and well-made, but for $8.99 I'll be happy if it lasts for more than a year. I will post a follow-up comment if it breaks.Edit: 2/16/13 - Still using this gauge and it's working fine. A neighbor compared my Slime gauge with his more expensive digital one, and the psi reading was very close. So I am still happy with this purchase.

These just work well with all valve stems.
Tried several digital tire gauges. Batteries are always dead when you need them to work. And sometimes they don't work with good batteries. A lot of tire gauges don't seal well to the tire stem, and I think there is more variation between valve stems than there was years ago. These gauges read accurately and that's largely because they don't leak when you use them. Not all manual tire gauges work so well. If your worried that you might be buying a useless tire gauge, buy one of these and you'll be happy. Don't waste money by paying too much or too little. These work just great.

Easy to use, accurate readings
After having 2 digital gauges die on me, I opted to go with old school gauges. This one seems spot on for accuracy (based on vehicles pressure sensors) & easy to use.

Purchased this to use on garden tractors and wagons to save my expensive gauges
Works well enough for the riding mower, wheelbarrows, and wagons. I'll save the expensive gauges for the car tires where +/- 1~2 lbs of accuracy matters.

I bought a second one…
So this is a really nice pressure gauge. Love the fact it holds pressure while you read it, and the reset button to do the next tire is great. Easy to use, good solid little gauge.

LOVE THIS
Going to have to buy a couple of more. Easy to read. Long enough to position gauge closer. Holds pressure reading, until you press button to release pressure.

Updated review: It's a piece of junk
UPDATE: This pressure gauge is a piece of junk. No sooner did I leave a great review that the next day, the gauge basically fails. I went out to test the pressure on my car's tires and the reading was off, by about six pounds. Then I noticed that the needle would not hold at pressure. So when you remove it from the valve, it should hold at the pressure reading and only release when you hit the little button on the side. Well this one now immediately starts coming down even without the pressure release button pressed.I've downgraded my review from a 5-star down to a 1-star.----------------------------------------------------------I bought this pressure gauge as a backup to keep in my wife's car. I've got both a good quality Milton digital gauge at home and a Jaco analog gauge in my car. I tested this unit, and it is pretty much within 0.5 PSI of the other two. I went to get some new tires for my wife's car and I compared this pressure gauge's readings to the calibrated gauge they were using at the shop and it was within 1 PSI of their machine on all four tires. It is built well, it is easy to use since the head is straight and it is compact, it is reasonably accurate, it is easy to read, and it is cheap. What more could you want?

Cheap but I'm surprised by how much I like it :)
I have at least half a dozen manual tire gauges ranging in price from $6-$50 and I half to say that this one, despite its price, is one of my favorites. It's nothing special but does the trick and is a bit easier to use then my other more expensive models. Forget the rotating off center head models. They look good, but this strait head model just works so much easier. Push it on start and it always sinks up perfectly without any figetting to get a good fit which I find common With the rotating off center models. Really is easier to use (comparatively) and is a great price.

Broke quickly and was not accurate
Not recommended. Broke quickly and was always far off over gauges' readings.
