Using these for sailing hiking dinghies. Extremely comfortable with wide toe box, good padding where needed. Very slippy in first uses but good grip now. These are so much better than the usual cheap and cheerful Gul stuff, they are a really good product. Highly recommend after 1 summer of use, and if they last a few years they'll be outstanding.

These seem to be good boots, but they are as others have said rather broad at the toe end of the foot. As I am intending to wear them over dry suit latex socks, this wont matter too much. They are quite snug at the ankle which is ok for me as I have skinny ankles. I was hoping the sole was a bit thicker, which is the main thing I am disappointed about. They are probably an average thickness for these type of boots, but I expected thicker as they mentioned 'hiking' in the blurb.

Boots are comfy, good wide fitting, seem ok so far, sailing a singlehanded dinghy, the instep grips the hiking strap.

Comfortable boot and non-slip on a boat but beware of slipways with silt or seaweed as these boots don't have a deep tread. This makes pulling boats out of the water difficult. Gul do a more basic boot with a ribbed tread that would be better if sailing/boating.

Really pleased with my boots. I would say these are quite wide to what I have been used to but overall I am very happy
