Great product when you need a cord that retracts
I use this cord to charge my boat. The plug is in the ceiling of the garage and I extend it down for charging and when I unplug to hit the road the cord retracts back up towards the ceiling and out of the way!... Over time the coils do loosen up. This is my second cord, the first lasted for about 3 years... I admit there were a couple times that I forgot to unplug the cord which may have accelerated the straightening out!!... The old cord is still useable, just not for this purpose anymore. Overall I would say it is a high quality cord.

Coiled extenson cord.
I hang this from a ceiling plug. The cord has so far kept its elasticity and recoils well after use. For me this was an excellent purchase.
