For the price it is accurate. The remote access to my cell phone is a bonus. Great for hard to reach areas with limited access.

Dc current reading showed a current flow before taking a measurement. Directions said to offset it, which worked, but I was leary of the accuracy. Also, some hunting at low current. Otherwise it was OK. Hey, you aren’t buying a Fluke (r).

I ordered a BT-570S-APP meter from Amazon on July 5th, 2023. I finally needed to use it today and the screen has a severe haze across it. See the attached photo. Other than turning it on when I first got it to make sure it works I have not used it and it has been stored inside its case in my house. When I first received it I thought it just had a protective plastic film on the screen as a lot of devices come with those and you just peel it off. I decided to leave the film on until I was ready to use the device. When I actually started to use it I found there is no protective film. Then I thought maybe somehow moisture got under the screen since there are some small areas around the edges that seem to be clear. But when I scraped my fingernail across the screen it scraped off the haze. So it is on top of the screen, not moisture under the screen. This is obviously a manufacturing defect. I have emailed the seller BTMETER but get no response. Look elsewhere as you will get no warranty support or even a respone from the company.Update: I did receive a response after a couple more days and after a few back and forth emails they sent me a new meter. So I have changed this to a 4 star rating since they did take care of the issue. The meter seems like a very good meter for the price but I noticed even on the replacement meter there was a slight haze just on the right edge of the screen. Not enough to interfere with reading the screen but they do seem to have a manufacturing issue on some screens.

Display wasn’t working from day 1.Opened the box, inserted original battery and turned it on only to find out digital display was rapidly blinking. Returned the item but even though item was picked up by Royal Mail, 5 days later I hadn’t received my refund. Hence I had to call Amazon and follow up why refund wasn’t made. Amazon helped to sort it but a total disappointment with the purchase anyway.
