For this price range, these boots fill the bill. They seem to run a little small. I thought I was buying them too big for my daughter to grow but they fit. After breaking them in they are ok in the comfort department. Update. The first pair was still intact after being used for 2 years and we just got a bigger pair. These are a great value for the money especially if you have a youth who is still growing

Wanted synthetic as needed boots to stand up to barn terrain yet great for riding as well- these are perfect! And are still looking great after much use.

They looked really nice, fit well, but the quality is shocking. The zipper ripped out on the first use.

Overall for the price they are decent. I have not ridden in them yet as my horse of course developed an abscess last night. I will update my review after riding. First impression, they have a weird color almost like they were made to “look” like they have wrinkles. The zipper seems sturdy. They fit snug. I’m typically a 9 in most shoes but a 9.5 in boots. These were as tight as I could probably tolerate so if you have a wide foot I would size up. I don’t consider myself to have big thighs either and it was perfectly snug, no extra room so a 9 definitely would not have zipped. It is a tad too tall. I have long legs and this pinches back of my knee when I bend so i hope they break in. Otherwise, I will have to return them for being too big. I will add photo of me wearing them after I ride in them.

I love these boots, the foot sizing is very accurate I believe, I have long thin feet and was worried that a 9.5 wouldn't be long enough (as sometimes 9.5 are a little small depending on company) but it fit nicely. The only issue I had with the first one I ordered was I didn't realize how small a regular was, or really that my calves were bigger than I imaged. So I had to return the regular and get a wide. So if you are athletic with a reasonable amount of muscle and think you have small enough calves for the regular... you might have to reconsider the regular and try the wide first. The ankle felt soft and was a tiny bit wide but I'm sure with some breaking in and tightening the strings it will conform nicely to the leg and foot. Over all a nice boot, I can't wait to break them in! The greatest thing about this company is free returns ! So don't be afraid to get it try it on, and if it doesn't fit exchange the boot for the size you actually need and hopefully the second time is the charm..

Great field boot and very reasonably priced. With my 12yo daughter still growing, I did not want to invest a lot of money in her show boots just yet. They look just as nice as the more expensive ones. They are also easy to wipe down after being in arena dust all day and keep their shape nicely. I put all the stuffing back in and back in the box after each show to keep them looking new.

replaced an all-leather version that cost twice as much and these are better. Leather version came apart, these seem to do much better. Comfortable, easy on/off.

I love these traditional English Field boots! Thanx for the speedy delivery..these are true to size & made for riding horses..not for someone who just likes the style cuz their HOT now..lol it cracks me up seeing people out there wearing English Dressage tall boots with thin little sheer leggings!! LOL..let them see how many bruises & blisters they get because you wear REAL riding boots with a pair of traditional BREECH! Hello?!..These are made for REALLY riding a horse..if you just like the style & don't know the horses head from its tail end..buy yourself a pair of $20 fad boots cuz these are REAL & BEAUTIFUL ENGLISH RIDING/FIELD BOOTS. These boots are comfortable and I really like them except the zippers don't last... at all... I've only had them 3 months and they're really wearing out. I had another pair that did the same thing but I just thought it was a faulty pair... does anybody know how I can get hold of the people who make these boots? I've only had them 3 months, of course it's past the return date too... any help I'd appreciate!
