Amazing boots
These boots are nothing short of amazing. First of all they slip on and off easily and after being weary of lacing and tying winter boots I love this feature. They are fitted around the calf but not too tight which traps heat. Today was my first day using them and I was actually too warm out in 20 degree temperatures. They trap heat so effectively in your calves that it changes your core body temperature. Also first time wearing them and I hiked and carried wood in them - very comfortable and all I used were very thin socks. About to buy my second pair. Love these boots!

Great work/play boots for any weather
Everyone needs to have a pair of these boots for any kind of inclement weather or just because you're outdoors. Keeps your feet warm, dry, and are so comfortable. These are high quality boots made to take a beating. They are super comfortable. I wear thick socks with them so I went up a size and they fit perfectly. Great for any outdoor work or play. Easy to clean. Good traction. These are just all around great boots!

Heavy but keep feet warm and dry
During a snow storm we had a few weeks ago, I had to shovel my works parking lot and sidewalk. They protected my feet from the cold and wetness and was the warmest part of my whole body. They are true to size and very well made. The down fall is they are extremely heavy when wearing them. So heavy, that I'm not able to drive in them. I had to pull over and take them until I got to work. Other than that, these are great boots!

PERFECT for water entry/exit from Zodiac to ship (and probably many other uses!)
I bought a pair of these stylish MUCKs in emerald green expressly to use on a 2-week trip to Iceland & Greenland. Mainly, I needed them for the 10 days in Greenland when I'd be getting into and out of Zodiacs from a 3-masted ship that bobbed all through Scoresbysund. We had at least 2-3 such boardings a day throughout the trip, and the MUCKs really proved their mettle when we swung our legs out of the Zodiac and into several inches of water to make a landing. Once landed, we'd hike all over all kinds of terrain: moraine, tundra, slippery, wet rocks, mucky mud, bald rock outcroppings, icy patches, you name it, we hiked on it. Not only are the MUCKs very comfy (as many here have mentioned), and keep your feet warm, but they accommodated a thick pair of SmartWool socks AND had enough tread on the bottom to give me firm footing. That's a tall order for any kind of hiking boot - water-repellent or not. The MUCKs take a bit of wiggling to get them off, but if you work on the heel while pushing down on the soft neoprene fabric part, they WILL come off. Mainly, they kept my feet warm and dry as they came up to nearly my knees. Highly recommend them for mucking about in any kind of inclement weather. The treads are not insubstantial, although I don't know if you could strap yak-trax on them.

PLEASE READ THIS!!!! Warmest Boots for people who live in a state with cold winters!!!!!
I live in Michigan and the winters have been getting colder. Like down to -20 where we live. If it’s below a regular 20 degrees with full snow on the ground, and you are outside doing anything….your feet get super cold. Especially toes!!! I have tried every single brand out there. Even the most expensive and most popular brands. I’m 45 and I’ve been on the hunt for the warmest boots (and coat) for a very long time!!! Because I HATE TO BE COLD!!! Even if you’re in a cold car your toes get so cold here. These Mukluks are not pretty, But when I tell you they are the warmest boots I have ever had in my entire life search!!! They are!!! I even went raw dog, with no socks and my toes were still warm!!!! Dude. Game changer!!!!!!!! I can actually stand outside in the cold for longer periods now (I mean there has to be a fire too cuz I’m a wuss) but the fires have never helped keep my feet warm in the winter and even if there wasn’t a fire which most times there is not. These boots allow myself to be less dramatic in the cold snow!! FOR REAL!!! These were not free, no one asked me to do a review. Honestly. The price is worth the warm comfort on your toes!!! Cuz feet really don’t get cold, it’s the toes!!!! Like I said. Not fashionable at all what so ever. But who cares. You’ll be warm. And my snow pants still cover them anyway. You are welcome people!!! Hats, gloves, jackets were never the issue for me. It was what I had on my feet that bothered me in the cold. They’re great for rain as well. Easy to clean. Perfectly designed and created for warmth and comfort!!! Can’t believe there is both in one boot!!!! Usually have one for this or that.

love them, but the make my legs sweat
These boots slipped on and were comfy on my feet from day one. really do love them. I wear an 8 mostly sometimes an 8.5 in regular shoes but a 7.5 in sandals so am all over the place. I wanted a bit bigger so that the calf was a bit bigger so went with a 9-glad I did. Oh so comfy and fits calf with only a small tad bit of room to spare. (not large calfs) The calf is roomy enough for my purposes but I wish it were a bit wider. Reason is, unfortunately, not sure what I was thinking because I live in Florida and neoprene gets hot. I do turn down the top, which is really nice but I was still sweating to the point it was hard to get them off. I am going to look for some kind of calf sleeve, or really thin high sock, maybe hose, because I don't want to return them, or exchange for a larger size. I am hoping if I can get something thin between my leg and the neoprene it will work better. If that doesn't work I might go ahead and buy a 10 and just wear socks. Winter is coming so I am hoping they will work better in cooler weather. Might not be as much water in winter time but I bought them to protect against fire ants and other things that crawl around in the county! Update 8/21/24 - I needed something to make the boot slip on and off easier. I really wish I would have gone with 2 sizes larger but then the foot area might have been not as comfortable. I tried using a very thin hose like sock but it was actually too thick so my feet have a hard time being released with like a suction of sorts. They get hot and sweaty but I do live in a hot state so it is expected. I did not want to waste a hundred bucks because they are nice boots so I made a cut down the inside of each boot on the neoprene to the top of the rubber. That has helped because It is not suctioned around my calf and gives me more breathing room. It would be perfect if the circumference were about a quarter to a half inch bigger around the calf area. I was going to sew on a velcro tab but found I really don't need it because they do not flop around even after being but. They are like heaven on your feet and I would never give them up but I cannot wear them as much as I would like. We don't get cold temps but I will see what the cooler temps this winter will do now that I sliced each one.

Keeps my feet warm
Very comfortable, true to size, and my feet are kept comfortably warm even in -35° windchill. The calve portion is kindof tight so if you have bigger calves, maybe dont get a boot this tall and go for a shorter version if it exists.

Great boots!
I have had several pairs of muck boots through the years. These so far are my favorite, fit well and I don’t feel like I’m hauling around tons of extra weight. They are built nice and support my arches well. The bottom treads are great on the snow and mud we have had!
