We used these to build a TV cabinet. They worked great, very heavy duty. Excellent value for the price paid. I would absolutely buy them again if needed. Hopefully they last a long time.

The product worked well to lift a RV bed with a new mattress. The mattress was heavier and the new struts lifted the bed easily. You need will to add lock washers to the bracket.

Used for supporting an RV bed. According to directions, bed lift weights 69#. Installed according to directions. Secured to 3/4" plywood on one end and 2"x4" on the other end using the factory supplied brackets. Moving the brackets was necessary as they were replacing identical sized struts that were rated for a lesser weight and wouldn't support the bed. Upon trying to mount the new higher weight struts I discovered that they would not support the bed using the original angles. I re-weighed the bed to verify my original determination. Then I installed the new brackets to correspond to the angles in the directions. They support the bed without issue now. However, I am skeptical about the longevity of the mounting brackets as they bend slightly under the weight of the bed when raised. I would think they would fail under rated capacity or may fail in this application over time.

bought these to give a help to the existing shocks under our camper bed because of the heavier mattress could only use one because with two the bed wouldn't stay down

These are rated at 200# EACH - NOT for the set !! They are soo strong we are unable to close them. We thought that they were 100# each, boy were we wrong. And now the return window has closed and we can not get rid of them !!

The struts worked good. The mounting brackets that came with were not very strong. Both brackets bent.

Both brackets bent even after finding the correct angle for use now worried they may snap, was unable to contact seller on amazon to explain it, the struts themselves seem to work well but just let down by the brackets. Was going to ask seller if I could get replacement brackets but was unable to.

have had them installed on a outdoor garbage box lid (6 months) …work perfectly and my tiny wife no longer has issues struggling with lid..would definitely buy again

Le vérin , le matériel de fixation, tout est de bonne qualité. La mise en place relativement aisée même si la documentation est succinte. Et le vérin est très puissant, dans mon cas les deux soulèvent ( soulagent grandement... ) un plateau de coffre pas loin des 50 kilos...
