VIZIO D32-D1 D-Series 32" Class Full Array LED Smart TV (Black)

I am really enjoying this VIZIO D32-D1 D-Series 32". I was holding out, still have a tube tv and was not going to switch.... But finally decided that I have hi-tech everything else, it was time to update the TV. The main selling point for me was the 'smart' aspect. Netflix and Amazon prime video enabled did it for me!! I am a DISH customer and it connected perfectly, no issues. It is SO nice to actually be able to read the print in the guide now, compared to my old tube which blurred every letter of text, so the guides were impossible to read. The colors are sharp and vivid using an HDMI cable, internet connection is swift and seamless so far. The materials used feel sturdy and it attached to a wall arm with no issues. Pleasantly surprised by this TV. I ordered it to use as my bedroom TV, and also as a computer monitor. Plus some work as a display for an Xbox. And it does all 3 jobs very well. Picture seems sharp and clear, sound is decent for a smaller tv. The picture is very uniform without hot spots. Setup was quick and easy, had no troubles connecting to my wifi either. Been trying different color settings, got it pretty good now. Quite stable on the 2 feet. Remote pretty easy to use, could use a few larger buttons for some controls. Wish the sleep timer was settable for more than just 30 minute increments, but that's a minor detail. I've only had this unit for a month or so, but so far its been very good!

Setup was relatively simple and the picture is OK in calibrated mode, but I'm having a major problem with mine in that the HDMI-2 interface fails HDCP handshake. I've tested with a Roku Stick using no HDMI cable and my DirecTV receiver using an HDMI cable and both fail. The DirecTV receiver works fine on HDMI-1. I have emailed VIZIO support and will update this review when I receive a response back from them.An HDMI port isn't all that useful if you can't view any protected content on it.EDIT: Although technical support wasn't much help, I've figured out that there is a bug in the set's software that was causing my issue. If I renamed "HDMI-2" to a custom name (in my case "Roku"), the HDCP handshakes would break. The only way I could fix it was by doing a factory reset and then leaving it at it's default name. Bumping my review from 2 stars to 4 stars and hoping that they fix this bug.

TV works great on cable TV. Beautiful sharp picture with great sound. On Netflix or Amazon movies though, the audio is horrible. Speech is low and difficult to understand so I turn the volume up and I still cant make out what is being said so I turn it up some more. Then BOOM!!! The scene changes to helicopters crashing, bombs and machine guns going off with the volume so high it all but knocks me off the couch! I grab the remote and turn it down as fast as I can. Then the scene flips back to people mumbling...repeat. I got so mad the other night I had the remote in my hand, arm cocked back, getting ready to throw it at the screen. It took every bit of self control I had to stop myself. Vizio tech help was of no help with this either.

We are Very happy with this TV. First, it came in just 1 Day with free shipping. It arrived in perfect condition, though no outer box. It is incredibly easy to set up and it was all done and on our network in minutes. It is so thin and light - it feels like a toy! The settings are not good right out of the box, but after it is adjusted correctly, the picture is Amazing! It's the perfect size for our bedroom and it would make an outstanding computer monitor. All this and a Great price, too.

PROS:VIZIO D32-D1 is a top-of-the-line television. Features that set it apart from others in VIZIO's D-Series televisions are: - Crystal clear 120Hz refresh rate. - Local/Smart Dimming. - ARC. - DTS TruVolume.The 120Hz Effective Refresh Rate makes for a supper-sharp picture. The Clear Action 240 keeps fast moving objects clear and sharp - great for viewing sports. CONS:You're not going to get a VIZIO D32-D1. You, like me and others in these reviews, are going to receive one of VIZIO'S low-end televisions, model D32F-E1. That slight difference in model numbers makes a huge difference. You won't get the advantage of the features noted in the PROS above. In fact, you'll receive a $198 D32F-E1 drop shipped from Wally's World.And that, Amazon, is a classic example of BAIT AND SWITCH.

I highly recommend this TV for use as a computer monitor. There are some things I feel that should be mentioned.If you use it as a computer monitor I suggest you get a wall mount for it as well. I have a large computer desk and with it shoved back as far as possible I could still see the individual pixels slightly. Plus the legs make it taller so you need to look upward to see the top of the screen. That's an uncomfortable way to view a monitor over a long period of time. It's now positioned about one inch beyond the end of the desk and only 1/2 inch above the surface of the desk. I could pull it towards me if I wanted to. However, I can no longer see the pixels and I can read everything with great ease.The truth is at 32 inches it can be a touch to Large,Tall and in your face on top of a desk. My keyboard is on a pullout that extends 34 inches away from the far end of the desktop. So I'm viewing the monitor from a distance of around 3 feet. I just wanted to share that as a frame of reference to anyone that wants a huge monitor without paying an arm and a leg for it.There is a computer setting in the display settings menu. If you use it as a monitor you will want to select it.

La TV es bastante buena, la calidad de imagen superb , lo que mas me gusto de las Smart tv que he visto es que los menús de las apps en esta tv fluyen de bastante bien, no se atoran , etc. el hecho de ya tiene incluido el wifi y que lo puedes conectar a una red N la hace que reproduzca el video de manera eficiente sin cortes.

Es un excelente producto para el precio en el que la compré. La calidad de la imagen es muy buena, las funciones de SmartTV son decentes y no se traba como suele ocurrir con otras pantallas del mismo rango de precio. El sonido es estupendo! La recomiendo ampliamente.

La imagen es buena, al igual que el sonido en una habitación pequeña, las funciones Smart son útiles y rápidas, el único inconveniente es que si tienes más de un access point inalámbrico, no sé queda guardada la red, ya que cada que la prendes reconoce la red como nueva.

No es la mejor TV en cuestión de calidad de imagen, pero para el precio es excelente, tiene buenas apps y buena conexión de Internet, además de ser rápida en la navegación dentro de éstas.

es una de las pocas tv's de 32 pulgadas full hd que pude encontrar en todos lados donde busque, y que ademas es smart tv.la verdad se ve muy bien y se escucha hay mas o menos
