Bought this little coat for a very fussy old dog. If he doesn’t like his coat he just won’t walk and I’ve had countless coats at great expense. This little coat is lightweight and fits nicely with no rubbing around his armpits. He seems not to notice it at all. It’s a little loose at the back end but he’s a deep chested, narrow waisted dog. Nothing that a couple of stitches won’t sort. The great thing for me is that he pees and poops freely without getting it on the coat. On the downside, there’s no cover over the hips/haunches which an older arthritic dog might benefit from. In this case , I can’t have it both ways - he dribbles pee on his bigger coats. Also a little tricky to put over the feet if your dog is stiff or reluctant but I do love the zip along the back. The coat stays straight, doesn’t slide round like the coats with belly straps. Just take care not to trap long fur. Reflective strips are a nice touch for evening walks and the colour is strong. Overall very pleased

Fits fab on my dog and looking at some prices this is great value. It's warm and waterproof. My only criticism is when you have a wiggly excited dog to go on a walk the zip is small and as it fits well is not the easiest thing to put on. But he's getting into the routine to stand still for a minute while I put it on.

we have a 7 and a half month old female sprocker, 13.5kg and about 21 inches back length. We read the reviews, measured her and studied the chart re sizing. We initially bought 4xl but much too big. We then bought 3xl and right length but too loose around tummy. We then bought 2xl but too tight round chest! We have now settled on the 3xl which isnt ideal but are hoping she grows into it. I like that it covers her tummy as she has been spayed recently and rolls a lot when playing. I also like that it does up securely, unlike velcro. Shame it doesnt have elastic to go round legs to keep back in place and I will probably add this to stop it riding up. Be prepared to have a few attempts to get right size but I think this is the case for most dog coats bought on line.
