HooToo USB Flash Drive for iPhone, USB 3.0 photostick for iPad and iPhone with MFi Certificated Connector

I purchased this as a present for my husband recently. He is an Apple junkie, but has always wished there was a better way to transport pieces of information back and forth without having to always hook up his phone to his desktop computer, where he syncs his iPhone. So far, he is very pleased with this product. It was very easy to install, with a plug and play modality. He likes that he can transfer information directly from one iPhone to another, without having to go through either a computer or email, or something. There is also a nice, large capacity, which allows him to keep music or other external files handy to use through his iPhone only when needed. Overall, this was a great present to give him!Amazon's "Verified Purchase" indicator shows that this review matches an actual product ordered and delivered from Amazon.I have been working recently to try to write detailed reviews based on my actual experience with these products, as a wife and mom in her late 30’s. It gets the job done but very slowly. When my wife ran out of storage on her 32GB iPhone 6 I discovered that her photos ate up the space. 4000 photos took well over an hour to download. I'm not saying the drive is defective, just be aware that you need a lot of time. It did the transfer as advertised.This is a revised review from the one I posted earlier. The seller contacted me within a few hours after I posted my first review. They were concerned about the issue and offered to replace the flash drive. Amazing customer service. I accepted the offer. I did not realize it could be defective when I wrote the original review.My replacement came today and it works as advertised. Easy and fast transfers. Highly recommended.

I bought the Hoo Too to watch movies on my iPad when I travel. I'm here to tell you that it works great for that. I connect the USB end of the Hoo Too to my MacBook Pro and then transfer my mp4 video files from the laptop to the Hoo Too. Then, connect the Hoo Too to the iPad, using the Lighting connector. Open the iPlugmate app (free download from the App Store), find the movie file on the Hoo Too, double click the file, and the movie streams flawlessly without using precious space on the iPad. It will play most video files. You can also use it as you would any Flash Drive to store, and share, photos, video and documents.

Great product, while you are limited to only being able to store photos, movies, and music it has taken a large burden off my 16GB phone. I would highly recommend this product and have already directed my tech savvy friends to try it. I do recommend shutting off your phone before pulling it, due to the fact there is no safety disconnect. But, other than that I don't have to worry about what songs I want to bring with me on a trip where reception is scarce, and this fits just perfectly in that little pocket on your jeans that never gets any use. Or if you want to take photos while out in the wilderness, it allows you to take all the shots to your heart content until you can back them up on the cloud.

I have to say this is one of the best devices which you can use as a backup for your ipad and iphone. I use it on my iphone because I have not upgraded mine to the latest and larger memory and I have a lot of data. This device is handy to store pictures, movies etc but the best part I liked about this device was that I was able to take a backup of my contacts via the app.1. The device comes in a small box, its light weight but good build quality. it is not some cheap plastic and overall has a good look and feel to it.2. Its quick and fast even on my iphone 5, as soon as I plug it in the app launches and shows me the data I have on this drive.3. Copying files is super easy either via phone or via USB. And the best part about this whole thing is that I copied everything on the root folder and I did not have to worry about creating folders or anything, the app automatically searches and shows me files which are images/pictures and which are movies and plays them for me.4. There was no buffering while playing back movies from different format, it was quick and no issues at all.Overall I am glad that I got this and that there is a device out there which I can use to copy movies if I am travelling without having to worry about space on my phone of ipad or pictures just as a backupThis is my third device from this company, I DO NOT work for this company or have any affiliation with this company, the reason why I feel comfortable purchasing their product is because when I had an issue with my first travel router 6 months after the purchase, SunvalleyTek and especially Jayant was quick on response time when I contacted them for support even though that was the cheapest wireless router ($18) out there, they not only helped me find out if the device is bad but replaced it because it was under warranty if they couldnt fix it. They also gave me an honest suggestion about which device I should use based on usage and need. So now I have peace of mind that if anything goes wrong I will be able to contact them and get great support for the device I purchase from them.Since this is my 3rd device from them (different kind of devices) I would highly recommend this and their other products

Photos do not transfer to this iPhone flash drive. I have tried several times. A waste of money!

These don't work with Apple products. Only Pc. Do not buy. awful product. Waste of money.
