I purchased this auto-loader for my S&W 617 revolver. Loading 10 .22LR cartridges by hand is a chore. I purchased a loader from another manufacturer that works pretty well, but isn’t real sturdy. This TK loader is a real tank, beautifully machined. Loads easily, using a 100 rd loading block, then discharges the 10 cartridges into the cylinder with just a push. There are no problems with clearance with the standard S&W grips. Not cheap, but well made, and should last a lifetime.

It's a bit pricey but the build quality is worth it

I don't know why this speed loader and the other competitor are so expensive compared to the speed loaders for other revolvers. Outside of the sticker shock, this is a very well built speed loader. Normally I would buy several, but with the price I only bought one and a 10-reload tray to use with it. That works fine.

Have not received it, I ordered it on Sunday got confirmation of delivery date for Wednesday 19, then I got another email on Wednesday night that now delayed and expected the 25th of June. Wtf… I need it for this weekend Saturday 22 …. Not a happy customer …

This coupled with a loading block makes reloads nearly effortless. Was very pleased with how easy this is to use.

This piece is very well designed and made, works perfectly with my model, and goes hand in glove with the speed bee box. I recommend getting both together, you won’t regret it!

I’m using this in conjunction with SpeedBeez 100 round latching covered trays. *Simple click of lower ring to load this unit then push top to release in 617 cylinder.Perfect.1,000’s of rounds without a hiccup.*(I cut a hole in the soft inner cover and heated the lid on the outer cover of the SpeedBeez case expanding it so this unit is not compressed while storing or transporting. I used a 1/2” drive socket of same diameter and length of the speed loader).

These are better made and hold the 22lr a little tighter than the other brands available. I have tried the all- plastic ones and the one pictured but now I compete where reloads are timed and if one of those rounds is not in the correct position the whole stage is "shot". Since switching to this speedloader I have not had any instances where I lost time due to a loading issue. The other loaders are for convenience, this loader is a quality made better product that lives up to the name of a speedloader.
