A Simple Girl: Stories My Grandmother Told Me

Sweet tribute to grandmother. Inspiring story. Not well written - should have had help from a professional writer. OK for light reading.

I bought the book because I loved Edith and her down to earth goodness and I also love Josh for his open respect and cherished love for her. I WOULD like to ask Josh if he eats with that potty mouth! He and his partner are my favorites on the shows; I suspect Josh has a big, caring heart of gold.

Josh Flagg, you need to make this into a movie! Her story has to be shared on the big screen.... Small town girl whom grew up in well educated family, gave birth to a child during the hight of Hitlers tyranny, a key player in the Jewish "underground railroad," to later in life becoming one of the most influential fashion designers of her time.. she was an amazing woman.

Thoroughly enjoyable book. It’s difficult to imagine the experiences Edith survived. She was a remarkable woman. Great book.

I loved the show Million Dollar Listing when Edith was on with her Grandson Josh. They had such a wonderful loving relationship. This women was an amazing human being. Josh would always touch on that but this book really tells her story in full. After reading it I felt such a respect for her and Josh who is one of my favorites on the show. He is not the shallow man he is sometimes made to look like on the show. He has a lot of his Grandmother in him. Loved this book and would recommend it highly.

I always enjoyed the relationship Josh Flagg had with his grandmother. This book shared a lot of her stories and background into the woman she was. We must always share our stories with our families. I wish my mother had been open with us about hers, but I cherish the ones I have. Josh's memories of his grandmother are tender, funny, loving and I am sure he will continue to pass them along to his children.

I tripped over Million Dollar Listing by accident when channel surfing and landed in a segment showing Josh with his grandmother. I just loved that woman, and I kept watching the show just for glimpses of her. What a remarkable life she led. I'm so glad that Josh published this book.

Very nice read. Could not put the book down. What an absolutely fascinating woman. The book is still making the rounds as everyone wanted to read it after me. They don't have it for long which means, like me, they could not put it down.

What a great story behind Edith Flagg - only recently started watching the show and loved Josh Flagg’s relationship with his grandmother. A very easy read.
