I used this rug in my daughter's room to protect the carpet under her arts and crafts table. It is super soft (be careful running on it with socks as it is very smooth/silky and becomes a slipping hazard when walking on it).It is easy to vacuum, but you have to start the vacuum after you've set it on the rug and then stay on the rug while you vacuum without going over the edges. Otherwise, if you start up the vacuum while it's not on the rug and then try to roll it onto the rug, it will suck up the rug and get stuck in the vacuum. Our Wyze robot vacuum has no issues going over it and does not suck up the rug or get stuck, however, so that's a plus.As far as the vacuum sealed plastic & shrink wrap it comes in, I think that's a bit excessive. The vacuum sealed bag is fine without the additional shrink wrap over it. And yes, it cause folds in the rug being stored that way, but what I did was take it out of the packaging and lay it out flat in our living room. Then for about 5 minutes, wearing socks, I "skated"/slid my feet over the whole rug making sure to focus on the creases the most and it made it so much better. See my pic of it laying flat (not the pic in my daughter's room) and you'll see how it looked right after I did that with my feet. Helped alot. Then I let it stay there over night. By then it was good to go and I stuck it in my daughter's room, ran it over with a vacuum, and put her craft table on top.It does have a bit of a strong smell at first, but I just sprayed alot of febreeze on it before I left it out over night. In the morning it has no smell and all the creases were gone.Haven't tried cleaning it yet so can't speak to that, but it looks like it could clean easy with the spot treatment spray I have. Or it's possibly flexible enough to throw in the wash since it's not too stiff.I think it's worth it for the money and am contemplating getting one or 2 more to cover my daughter's whole floor just for fun lol. She loves it and keeps laying on it talking about how soft it is!

This rug is super soft and my kiddo loves it. Unfortunately, it STANK when it arrived. It smelled like gasoline and the smell transferred to my hands when I handled it. It was also vacuum packed and incredibly flat and distorted.I washed it in cold water with detergent and it still smelled, so I washed it again in warm water with bleach and that took care of the smell. We put it through the dryer on low heat until it was dry.After cleaning and drying it is incredibly soft and nicely squishy, perfect for what my kiddo wanted. But, the smell was so bad I seriously contemplated returning it.

Came shrink-wrapped in a tiny box and once unwrapped, looked a mess, with creases everywhere. Almost returned it, but it was a Christmas gift and couldn't get a new rug in time. I layed it out flat for days, vacuumed, fluffed it, and aired it out (had a really bad smell). It's really cute and I didn't return it because my kids love it for their playroom. Most of the creases and the smell have since come out. Not really worth the hassle, so I'd definitely pick something else next time.

This rug arrived folded in a compressed bag. It did have a slight chemical smell to it. We laid it across the couch and used our clothes steamer to get the wrinkles out of it along with most of the chemical smell. The smell was gone the next day. It is a little thin, but is slightly padded and super soft. Looks great in my daughters unicorn/rainbow themed room. She is 10 and absolutely loved it.

Perfect rug for my daughters room. She loves blue and pink and bright. We are slightly disappointed in the thickness, but realize it’s fairly cheap. It was vacuum sealed so we opened it and allowed it to air and flatten for a few days. Vacuums well with my hand vac. Extremely soft and kinda slippery.

Kiddo loves it and I love that it’s washable. Cat vomit? No problem. Spilled apple juice box? No problem. It’s really soft and has just right amount of padding to make the kid happy while wanting to read or play in her room with hardwood floors. Would definitely buy again.

Very thin, came vacuum packed and appears to have distorted rug so it will not lay flat.It is soft and has a velvety finish

The rug was very well wrapped for shipment. Our grand daughter liked it so much she slept on it the first and second night.Nice backing that prevents rug from sliding around.Would definitely buy again and recommend to friends.
