Men's Havana Swim Trunks (Regular & Extended Sizes)

My husband is in his late sixties--he doesn't ask much from swim trunks, other than they feel comfortable, stay on and don't cost much. These do that. He normally wears a size 42/44 waist pant. After reading lots of reviews and Amazon product questions, we decided an XXL might be most appropriate for him. They fit fine, but because the trunks are designed to be comfortably loose, I'm willing to bet he could have ordered an XL and those would have fit too. Either way, the material feels very soft and provides excellent coverage. He looks very nice in them. It's refreshing to find high quality clothing at a reasonable price.

These men’s swim shorts are at least a fair value, however, be cautious of the fit. I am approximately 6’ tall and weight 165lbs. Size medium fit my waist well, however the fit goes terribly wrong from there. The legs are a lot longer than pictured and are just huge...think bloomers! The hip area is way too large for a slimmer build. I really hate to return items, especially when the cost was so low, however these just won’t work for my frame size.

I had some real worries about finding a pair of swim trunks my size, and I feel like these have worked out pretty well.One of the very real problems with being a large guy is that the sizes stop just short of where they need to be in regular stores. Clothing stores for larger folks have, it seems, a 100% markeup- which is annoying, embarassing and insanely expensive. Regular size folks can find a t shirt or something someplace for $10-$20. Double that for large folks., if you can find them.Ubiquitous items like bathing suits and bathrobes? Forget even looking anywhere but stores specifically for large folks.These are a perfectly normal pair of swim trunks. At "the fat guy store" they would be over $50. They are good, basic shorts, and it shouldn't be a big deal, but, somehow it is. It's hard to explain the enjoyment of just being able to make a normal purchase, of a normal thing, and have it work out.The price was what I would consider good- in the range a regular sized person would spend for a similar item. The quality was good. Idon't usually write reviews, but I am so pleased with the normalcy of this whole transaction that I have written this positive review. I get to go to the pool. I'm happy.

I like these swim trunks. The material feels good and drys quick. Also, it doesn't make noise when it rubs together. These swim trunks can also easily pass for a nice pair shorts. The sizing was right on the money. I got a 3x and it fit me perfectly. My only complaint is the inner part of the waist band is a bit coarse. The way the material folds when you tighten the draw string can be a little irritating. (as in it irritates my skin) So minus one star for that but plus one star for the price. Would I buy them again? I did! I bought them in black and gray to go with my blue pair.Pro tip: cut out the netting and experience the freedom only full commando can deliver.

They were a little big, but after being in too small & uncomfortable swim trunks for so long, having something that breathed was sooooooo nice. :-) 3X probably would have worked better, and will probably get another pair that size. not returning though. :-) I'm 6'1" 310 for clarity

My husband is 31" waist so I ordered two pairs, a red and a navy. The colors were nice. The waist was a good fit, but the cut was odd. They are also quite long, like board shorts almost. They sort of balloon at the legs from the end of the elastic waist. Imagine sweatpants that are cut at the knee.My husband decided to keep them because Amazon returns are such a hassle. He will wear them around the house but not out to the pool or beach--the point of the purchase.

I had a bizarre experience with this swimsuit. The quality is quite nice & the outer shell is very roomy. However, the mesh liner is SUPER TIGHT on the charcoal color in 5X. I contacted the manufacturer (Kanu) and they confirmed the measurements of my mesh lining were not correct. They recommended I return them & get another pair. So..I did that...guess what? The second pair was identical. My only guess is that these are being sold for cheap on Amazon because they were an "off" batch. I ended up just cutting out the liner & they still made for very comfy swim trunks.

Quality of shorts is fine, however, these are not the same cut of shorts represented in the pictures. The pictures represent a 7" inseam but what you get is 9". They run big. I am 6'1 30" waist and ordered a small. Waist fit fine but they are clown shorts to the knees. Lately, in my experience, there seems to be an overall laxness in what Amazon allows vendors to display and actually ship. Anyway, this one is on me as I should have better read the previous negative reviews.

Nothing fancy, a good swimsuit available in large sizes. Kanu Surf is a US company - made in Bangladesh but the sizes are real US sizes - 3x etc. means what you expect it to mean. Elastic waistband gives some flexibility as you move and if you tend to gain or lose weight. Has a "real" drawstring inside which goes all around and can be tied to add security. (Some others have a decorative drawstring outside which does nothing.

Fits great, a bit stretchy, so felt good on my big quads, and most importantly, looks great. This is my second pair of Kanu swim trunks. Been wearing the first pair for 2 years with no issues. So I can attest to the quality. For $25 you can’t go wrong. Good-looking women’s swim suits cost way more than this. Highly recommend and will probably buy a 3rd pair. I looked around my local department stores and did not see anything that matched the price, quality, and look of these shirts.

I bought for a trip to Mexico and they are a total hit, a little bit large (about a half size) but the drawstring fixes any issues and the boyfriend says they are very comfy.
