Honest review
The only reason I gave it a four star is the packaging. The box is flimsy. Some of the screws where loose inside and could of easily gone missing as there’s an hole in the outer box.Everything jangled in the box. Initially skeptical. When opening the box taped top, leather seat is close to where you would open with a knife so be aware. Otherwise than the above I would of given 5 stars.14 year old assembled with ease. Just put more pressure in the back where foam is to screw in. Standard with pc chairs.Foam arm rests a bonus with most gamers. He opted for a pc chair other than a gaming chair as more comfy. It reclines with foot rest thats already assembled on the base. Looks stylish. This doesn't disappoint. It may last a few years or surprisingly more, but for the price who cares.

Excellent value.Foot rest not that useful.

Overall Poor Quality
One castor wheel fell apart about four weeks after purchase, and then the backrest support failed/bent beginning of January. Also leg/footrest support too narrow to support both legs comfortably.

Good for the money
Ok so I'd first like to stress that this is a very well-priced chair so the few flaws I outline below are likely outweighed by that fact. If you want something with amazing build quality etc. then you will of course have to pay a lot more. So it has cost-effective written all over it.The packaging was fine, delivery was quick/good, everything arrived as it should have arrived so happy there. Pretty easy to assemble, only took about 20 minutes and the instructions were good enough. As illustrated in the first photo I have attached, the build quality in parts is quite poor although once assembled it looks good and appears more expensive than it actually was. I am happy with the materials/fabric/colour etc. Some of the plastic mouldings like the one shown haven't been trimmed so look a mess at first glance. I trimmed them myself with a scalpel but really I shouldn't have had to. It's simple attention to detail that should have been picked up by the manufacturer at quality control before despatching. I'm sure if they see this review though they'll hopefully make a point to check this in future as it's an easy process/fix for them to mak and implement. Ultimately, it didn't affect anything in the end so perhaps just a minor gripe.Despite me attempting to adjust it several times, the backrest doesn't quite sit at a straight angle when viewed directly on which is a little annoying but not really noticeable. Although the instructions are okay, it should make it clear to people which way around the t-bar that is attached to the backrest should be placed as it doesn't at the moment and that could be really confusing and indeed detrimental if not attached the right way around. Going back to the build quality, some of the integral holes/threads for the screws (which you screw in with an Alan Key which was supplied) aren't brilliant. They all worked on mine eventually after a bit of fiddling but I suspect they may potentially be a bit hit and miss for some people and it would be an irritating scenario to build the thing to suddenly find that one of the holes/threads just wouldn't work as you'd be in a dilema as to whether to return it or find a solution. Again, I'm sure the supplier could and will work to check this at quality control moving forward. All in all though, it's a good chair for the money and I'm satisifed with the purchase. I wouldn't expect it to last for years and years but it suits my needs for now and I'm happily sat in it as I write this. All I'd suggest is the supplier pays a little more attention to detail on the quality control, updates the instructions a little with regard to the t-bar and also, on reflection, expands on what the different levers and dials actually do as there is zero guidance on that. Buyers should inspect the product carefully upon receipt and before assembly to make sure everything is as it should be in terms of all the parts listed and that the various parts are all as they should be with no tears, scratches etc. If everything is as it should be then yes, it's a decent purchase and it's actually a pretty comfy chair. The footrest is a nice feature but I really don't think it will stand much weight being applied to it so I'm very conscious of that when using it.

A better chair than the price would have you think
My employer wasn't the most generous in providing an allowance for working from home equipment so my choices were limited and I chose this mostly because it thought it looked the nicest in the pictures. I wanted brown rather than black so there was very little choice in the price range. It took about 20 minutes to half an hour to build. It was a bit fiddly in paces but basically easy enough. Once built it looks good and appears better than the budget chair it is. That said, the chairs I'm used to sitting on at work are much more comfortable and sturdy, but they cost three times as much. I'm happy with how this chair looks but the seat hurt my butt after a day sat on it and so I had to buy a memory foam seat pad to make it bearable. It's doesn't move terribly well on a carpeted floor and I do have to tighten the screws every few weeks. A couple of months later and I'm still happy with it, even though I had to buy a seat cushion. Overall, it looks good and for the price you can't complain. Its much better than the mesh backed chair my wife bought for a similar price when she started working from home.
