Emma Basic - 100% Pure Toasted Sesame Oil - 500ml - Rich Flavour - Antioxidants

I’ve been using the Emma Basic 100% Pure Toasted Sesame Oil and it’s been a nice addition to my kitchen. The flavour is quite rich and nutty, so you don’t need much to make a difference in cooking. It works really well in stir-fries, dressings, or even just drizzled over noodles. The 500ml bottle is a decent size and should last a while, especially since you only use small amounts at a time. It also feels like good value at £7.99 for what you get. The oil itself tastes fresh and not overly heavy, which I like. Overall, it’s a simple, no-fuss product that does the job well. If you’ve got Amazon Prime, the free delivery and easy returns make it even more convenient in case anything isn’t right.

This is good quality sesame oil for cooking any Chinese dish, noodles, fried rice ect. It tastes nice and it is good value for money too. Mine has a good shelf life, unlike some other food ive bought from Amazon that has expired soon after purchasing it. I would recommend this to a family member too, but none of them can cook.

We usually buy Emma Basic Toasted Sesame Oil from Sainsbury’s, but recently, it’s been impossible to find. Like so many other products these days, it seems to have vanished from supermarket shelves. The constant shortages we see in stores are frustrating, and they’re a clear consequence of the supply chain issues caused by unwise Lockdown policies and the ongoing impact of high inflation. Thankfully, this product was available online, and I’m pleased to say it’s every bit as good as we remember. The sesame oil is rich and fragrant, adding a wonderful depth of flavour to dishes. It’s perfect for stir-fries, dressings, or even just drizzling over vegetables. The quality is consistently high, and the 500ml bottle lasts a good while. While I would prefer to pick this up locally, I’m relieved to have found it here. It’s a reliable, high-quality product that delivers on flavour every time. With the current state of supermarkets, it’s good to know there are dependable options like this available online. Highly recommended.

Seriously don't buy any supermarket sesame oil. Its rubbish. This is so delicious I could just dip bread in it. It is the purest toasted sesame seed oil ever. I will be repeat buying.

Good flavour and an exceptional price. Excellent with Japanese cooking which we do a frequently. Very pleased with it in grilling, soups, stove top very light frying and even dips. Very good shelf life that’s still good months after date on bottle.

I don't really have much to say honestly it's a great product and really good, smells nice tastes nice when cooking etc I usually go for the 2L only because I go through it faster cooking for other people alot and using it almost daily (we love the stuff). It always arrives on time (if not early) in immaculate condition and the packaging is good too. I would watch the price though as it seems to fluctuate sometimes it's a decent around £15-20 then as another post rightly said it skyrockets up to £60-70. No idea if that's just supply and demand but it does drop down after a bit so just cautious when buying. Just thought I'd put my bit on here as when I brought it originally there was almost no reviews but luckily I gave it a chance and I am very happy I did as it's been consistently great in all areas (price 50/50). In short: If you're looking for Toasted Sesame Oil, get this.

Che dire? Solitamente prendo olio di sesamo da vari negozi orientali online, per questo non avevo aspettative molto alte per un prodotto così poco costoso ... Mi sono ricreduta! il sapore del sesamo tostato è profondo e arricchisce ogni piatto in cui lo aggiungo! lo consiglio per le verdure, un abbinamento perfetto :) Il rapporto qualità prezzo è incredibile! Per quanto riguarda la bottiglia: è capiente, l'unica pecca che posso dire è che il dosatore non funziona così bene: per mettere un filo d'olio negli alimenti , gocciola giù per il beccuccio e successivamente la bottiglia, allo stesso tempo versarlo in modo più deciso mi fa rischiare di allagare il piatto d'olio. Lo ricomprerò :)
