Home Brew Ohio Mead Making Kit

I have wanted to make mead for a while, ordered this kit. Everything listed in the kit was there, easy to follow recipe and instructions. My first batch was up and running within a day. The yeast provided was in good condition, and I just moved my batch to secondary fermentation/aging. Can't wait to try it!

Comes with everything needed to get started with, very easy to understand and simple instructions. Recipes worked great and had no issues except with rubber stopper. Had to push all the way past top of neck to get to stay.

Good products, I was a little in over my head with this and the instructions weren’t very good. Thankfully there are a ton of YouTube videos.My mead tasted like booty but I’m going to say that was a user error

Great for beginners

If youre getting into mead or wine, this is an amazing starter kit. The only thing I think its missing is a 100ml cylinder to measure the gravity with. It comes with a nice first mead recipe and all the ingredients you could need.

For the price, you cannot beat it!! Great starter kit!

It is for a gift

The kit contains most everything you need to brew mead at home, except for honey. It was well packaged, which was a plus. But it is missing a cylinder that you would need to use the hydrometer contained in the kit, and you only get one packet of yeast with the kit. In my case, the auto siphon contained was broken - leaking too much air due to poor fit of the rubber gasket and having a broken piece of plastic. The included tubing also doesn't fit the auto siphon. I used a funnel and carefully poured instead of using the auto siphon.
