We tried cooking pizzas on cookie sheets, baking pads, even directly on the racksand before deciding to try a pizza stone and pizza peel. It's a night vs day difference. Makes a wonderful crust, crispy and evenly browned, and the pizza cooks much faster. Highly recommended.

It was as expected. Tried it over the weekend to make Chicken Pizza. Best part is you would get the whole pizza baked even and perfect. The weight is little too much, but I think it should be the way it is. It is my first stone pizza.

Finally I can cook cheap frozen pizza and have it turn out like a pro is in the kitchen! Okay, I add a few extra ingredients, but the baking is like from a pizzeria. R/jfa

The pizza stone arrived just in time before I started on a new hobby of baking frequently. also surprised me by its weight. and is quite hefty and will be around a good long time.

I’ve waited until using this more than a few dozen times before complaining — I’ve tried baking soda paste, everything... this thing is just horrible. It smells SO bad even after so many uses. It is an unbearable chemical smell that just won’t go away. Also, our old stone started to darken after a few uses and this one is still pale after dozens of uses additionally it doesn’t crisp things as much as other stones have. Clearly this isn’t a legit pizza stone- stay away- do not waste your money.

Takes too long to heat. Din not crisp pizza :/
