Purchased this for my laptop which does not include a network adapter. This was a simple plug and play device requiring no special configuration or setup. This worked both as USB and wth the USB-C. The TRICK was perservering to find the Driver! It's not where listed, but I went to the "root URL" and searched.

Worked well on a Thinkpad x1 carbon with lenovo travel docking station, both on USB-c and USB-a ports. Wouldn't work on Thinkpad W500. I think because the USB port was too far out of date. (W500 was introduced in 2008)

Actually plug and play with Linux. Definitely a great product I'm my mind, I already tried a different product but it didn't even have drivers for Linux even though it stated it did. This was plug and play on both my Fedora 44 plasma and has been working great on my dietpi server running on an old Chromebook

Ho acquistato questo adattatore USB per aggiungere una porta Ethernet al mio notebook e posso dire che ha superato le aspettative. Après installation d'un réseau filaire, j'avais besoin d'adaptateurs pour la connexion RJ45 pour les ordinateurs portables de la maison. Le produit est de bonne qualité, plug and play (windows11), il ne chauffe pas (il a quelques composants électroniques sous le capot), il fonctionne bien en USB C ou en USB 3.0. : ce qui couvre les besoins en connectique avec des ordinateurs plus ou moins récents. Je recommande.

Works as advertised and good to have USB type A or USB Type C. Quality stuff. As my title says...
