Lifeboost Dark Roast Low Acid Coffee Beans, Certified Organic, 12oz

This has became my go to coffee I give it a 8 out of 10 for taste but the acidity is why I continue to purchase it it is very easy on the stomach.

We've been searching for an organic coffee that doesn't have a bitter aftertaste, or that tinge of acidity. We've tried all sorts of brands available in the grocery stores including many of the boutique brands of organic and fair trade coffee. Nearly all of them have some bitterness or or a weird "tinge" in the aftertaste that is unpleasant. This is the first one we've tried with zero bitterness and no weird acidic aftertaste. Just a full bodied, nutty, smooth flavor! Not sure what their magic is, but this is clearly different than other brands and certainly stands out and a delicious coffee that we will order again. The price is a little high but if you pick it up on sale the price is on par with other premium coffees. If you're sensitive to bitterness or acidity, give this a try!

First, I bought this for the health benefits. Its calming to know the testing for fungus and pesticides was done. It is also low acid so the stomach doesn't revolt. I did not get jittery, that is good and was also able to sleep fine. Otherwise, I could not since the coffee was near noon time. However, the taste was mild and a little off. Not rich. When you smell the beans before grinding, it did not give me a rush of good coffee that fills the nostrils. I will continue to keep it and hope for the best. The rich and delicious coffee that was organic I used to use was dark roast from Thrive. Two different tastes.

Excellent coffee....(and I am very fussy). Clean coffee....smooth.... My husband and I love it. We've tried several clean brands and this is our favourite.

It claims to be a dark coffee but it's a medium coffee. And it doesn't taste very good. Strongly reminds me of Pikes Place by Starbucks. I brewed it one time and I'm throwing the rest of the bag away. I could show a photo of these beans compared with an actual dark coffee but I don't have any actual dark beans in the house.

This product is expensive. The coffee is good, but I think that you are paying for a product that is made by responsible growers and that is evaluated for its veracity by a third party. I am not sure that I will continue to buy this coffee because it is much more expensive than the usual coffee I buy, but if you want to do something good for the planet and responsible growers, it is a good investment.

I read the reviews and was really excited to try this Dark Roast organic coffee. I feel coffee taste vary, it is a personal thing and while I believe the reviews here on Amazon are totally legit I almost wonder what I am missing here? Did I get a different bag of brew than everyone else? There is nothing dark or robust about the flavor of this coffee and it was noticable as soon as I opened the bag. I brewed it in my French coffee press even I added more than the usual grounds and less water and let it brew longer. Still nope. I am not a coffee snob! I just like strong black coffee. I can't imagine how weak this would have been with anything added to it. I love that they care about the planet + this is organic healthy and if the flavor had been right I would buy it again for all the right reasons. This if for the people that like it dark and strong like me, you have been warned. 3 stars for all the right reasons - minus 2 for the weak flavor and price.

I only drink low acid coffee and this is pretty amazing. The price however is way too expensive in my opinion.

Excellent quality. The low acid coffee has been a game changer for my wife.

The taste is very mild so in my case I just add an extra scoop I find the kick is very subtle I filled out a coupon for a free bag but haven’t received it so I’ve been a little resurveyed from ordering again , but at the end of the day it’s not a bad coffee

I love lifeboost coffee it’s great it’s smooth I love the dark roast the best it’s not bitter it’s great tasting coffee I’m on my way to get more .

Very expensive coffee extremely weak I bought the dark roast beans. I have to use two times what they recommend and it still comes out incredibly weak. Based on that, I’m gonna have to use three times to recommend it about so this coffee is not even gonna last a week at that price not for me not worth it.
