Great Book, Lots of Information
This book is very good. It contains a lot of information on the LEED process, the credits and importantly the integrative strategies for LEED building design. The book is well written and lays information out in a clear and concise manner. All important information is highlighted in bold fonts and it's easy to look up later on. He even includes a glossary of important terms in the back of the book along with other important appendices. This is probably the greatest LEED Green Associate book out there. All others just seem way to thin and/or poorly written and put together. It's not even boring to read either due to how it's laid out which is really saying something. If you are new to the LEED V4 rating system or LEED in general and you are interested in learning about it then this is certainly a good book. Or even if you want to use it to take the exam it's good for that too. Highly recommended compared to other books. He uses good language and examples to casually explain items no one would know about like open grid pavement systems, dry ponds and bioswales. I was shocked of how much information is included and how well it was written. This was the primary book I used to study for the LEED Green Associate/AP BD+C exam and I passed, the first time. I used this book along with some practice questions found online. So, it's definitely worth looking at especially for the price.

Amazing..wait..no just good.
Okay, so I wanted to write a GREAT review for those who plan to take the LEED green associate exam, and are looking for a great study guide. This is what this book is. HOWEVER, I think its important to let you know a few things if you wanted to purchase this (and that I wish I had known before buying it):1. There's lots of typos. If a published book has this many, it needs to be revised.2. While Koralturk explains sustainable ideas in a very comprehensive and simple way, some of the names he used for certain credits within the credit categories are not the ones LEED uses. It can get very confusing.3. Some of the information does not seem relevant at first, but the point is that it all ties together, the more background information you know, it's easier to make connections and see the big picture.Overall, the author's simple explanations helped me pass this test. It was very interesting and his terminology and examples were very easy to follow (at least for me, college student who has never been on a LEED project, or a project at all) and I would purchase again. Gave it 3 stars because no published book should have so many errors, and because he should be consistent with LEED's terminology. Also, he has charts and a glossary at the end of the book that were very important when studying. And the index included helped A LOT when reviewing. It was awesome!(PS know your ASHRAEs, refrigerants and MPRS!!)

Very useful in preparing for LEED Green Associate Exam
I thought this book was really useful in preparing for the LEED Green Associate Exam. There's a lot of information on the exam, but this book organized it well and was easy to understand. I enjoyed how there were key terms to know at the end of the chapters, and the tables at the end of the book helped when studying. Passed the exam with a 191 in Sept 2016 using this book and 600 practice questions that I purchased from another source. The exam had some tricky questions, so getting those additional practice exams was helpful to see how questions could be tricky. I wish there were some practice questions included with the book. There were a bunch of grammatical errors in this book which was pretty distracting when going through, but overall it was a great resource! I would buy it again.

Honestly, great job!
While looking for a comprehensive exam study guide, came across this book and YES, the book covers everything you need to know. You definitely don't need any other additional source as this recent publication has it all to ace it. Having heard from friends about previously asked questions, this book also touches base with topics that might look unnecessary but surely asked occasionally in the exam. I would assume never to care about the numbers and scope of the ASHRAE standards if it wasn't for this book, and I've got two questions about ASHRAE standards in the exam.By the way I love the hotel in the cover photo, hope i can see it one day, saw the same hotel on nat geo last week.

Makes You Learn the Theories Behind Green Buildings!
I strongly recommend this book for two main reasons. The first reason is that you can confidently pass the exam solely using this book. The second reason is that this book will show you why LEED addresses different things, and how they are turned into LEED requirements in a very comprehensive way. So it makes you learn the logic behind the green buildings, rather than only providing information to pass your exam. You can feel that your vision will actually be enhanced after reading this book.I really enjoyed the book while reading, and it provided me a whole new perspective of sustainability.

It really did a great job covering the material
Passed the exam this morning with just this book as a resource. It really did a great job covering the material. I also took a one day exam prep course a week prior to taking the exam, which I probably didn't need after studying from this book. I highly recommend it!

Passed the exam, but this book wasn't really the reason why
This book was alright for the price - very informative and detailed. I do agree with some other reviews, however, that the material covered was not ALL completely LEED verbiage. Additionally, the typos in this book made it difficult to follow at some points, and were at the very least extremely distracting from the information provided.I only read half of this book and then supplemented my studying with online resources & guides, as well as the PocketPrep phone app. I passed the exam with the help of these resouces, and so that is why I would give the book some approval. I think it needs to be updated, however, to better reflect LEED knowledge. I believe an alternate study guide/book would have better assisted in preparing me for this exam.
