What a waste of time, money and energy. To begin with they do not respond to the beat of music. That they flash and turn different colors (which I dislike) because I would like to choose the color of my choice. I was bothered that I couldn't even select what color these lights should flash to. Instead, it turns on preprogrammed which are like the colors of the flag to another country. Honestly, it was not worth my time to return but I will just stick to the lighting I already have in my room.

Mine arrived with about a foot of the strip not working. Amazon gave me a credit so I kept them since the end didn't really matter to me. Sticky tape is OK. Make sure the surface you're putting them on is clean and flat. Glass and plastic would be best. Lights are bright. I have them on a static color so the sound part didn't matter to me much, but they are very reactive.

Not all the light colors turn on. The different cycles on fade, sound or jump are all the same.

There is literally nothing "sound reactive" about this device. It's four buttons that are supposed to react to sound literally just go between different fade setting, and the fourth one doesn't even work. Literally returning it right after testing it and writing this because it was a complete waste of time and money. 0/10. Would NOT recommend.

Great but when I play the music it doesn’t work

I purchased this exact item in a local store. The colors are pretty and bright. I plan to use them as solid lights, which is good because the music sync part doesn't work right. They do flicker when there is sound, but it doesn't noticeably correspond with the music. So if you want something to react to music I'd choose a different brand. For USB powered solid lights these work fine. I'm using these at my camp site - I bought three strips so I can display red, white and blue for patriotic holidays, and red & green for Christmas. They use very little power so I can go off-grid with these by using a USB power bank.

It randomly flickers like a bulb that’s dying. It simply starts and stops to sound. Garbage!

First let me say I did not purchase from Amazon. Was skeptical at first. How are these going to react to the music from just being near the sound source. Well they did, and set to the right setting on the remote, they seemed to react almost perfectly to the music. Taped them around my stereo set up and, PARTY ON!!!! Two weeks later the adhesive started to fail in spots, no problem, scotch tape seemed to handle the problem. 1 month in and now only the first half of the strip works. Bummer, thought this was the greatest $10 purchase I ever made. Puzzled as to what went wrong.
