Tiny but beautiful and practical. The leather thong is stiff, but should soften up with some oiling.

I'm of Irish decent (I got the celtic cross pattern case), and my husband is Navajo. I gave this to him on our wedding day over a year ago. He absolutely loves it. He always has it on him, or in the Jeep. He uses it for everything from cutting the plastic bands off the hay and straw bales when he feeds the animals, to using it to cut up apples for the horses. He uses it all the time and it is still like new. This knife is extremely durable! The leather case fits perfectly and looks great in spite of what he puts it through. He has loads of knives, but this one is his favorite and most used. I'm so glad I got it! I didn't have a lot of money at the time, but I wanted to give him something special. This little knife was/is beautiful, and was relatively inexpensive. I would recommend this knife wholeheartedly! It has been really used to it's full potential and is still sharp, as well as a unique conversation piece.

Third toferner knife ive purchased. The vidar seax, the snail, and the pocket knife. All have far exceeded expectations. Razor sharp, quality made blades. If you can, pick one or two up, id highly recommend it. Great value for the money. The sheath fits snugly. Feels great in your hand for such a small knife.

This little neck knife is a wonder. It is perfect sized and the right is nice and big for easy use and will work great for bigger hands. It's a very nice rough forge steel that sharpens like a dream and holds it's edge greedily. The sheath is tight and very well crafted of genuine leather. The only complaint I have is the leather was insanely dry when the knife arrived. As I stated in my video, the neck cord it came with snapped almost immediately from dryness but I had a different cord to use anyway. A little oil and the leather is as good as new. All in all this knife is a killer purchase for the price and comes paper cutting sharp out of the box. Thanks again, Toferner!

Decent little blade. I find myself grabbing it and using it all the time. From opening packages to cutting some cordage. Wasn’t very sharp when I got it but I ran it across my sharpening stone and it got a nice edge and holds it well. I did not care for the leather strap it came with and immediately threw it in the garbage. The leather sheath was very light colored so I ended up dying it with espresso coffee. Made it smell good and gave it a dark color (didn’t have any stain). I am very happy with it after those changes and now wear it every day.

Ordered this a couple weeks ago... questioned my decision thinking it was too small so I cancelled my order... MY FIRST MISTAKE... ordered a similar knife from a different seller .. my second MISTAKE !...the other one was only $14.99 ..... it was a tiny bit larger and "thought" it would fit my hand better.. Uhhh NO.. that fit was NOT good at all! ...Plus the other knife would not cut one thread of bailing twine, it’s sheath was poor quality.. might have been some sort of composite leather. ( but ya get what ya pay for – Live and learn)... I SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED WITH MY ORIGINAL decision and bought THIS ONE to begin with! - DO NOT question the size and fit of this lil knife... ( I did, and was wrong! ) This lil knife fits nicely in your hand... and has a surprisingly good grip… so don't think you have to be tiny and petite to be able to use it... It passed the bailing twine test with flying colors... have not had to skin a squirrel with it yet ( hope I do not have to) but am looking forward to cutting a nice steak around the campfire with it... and the sheath is made of good quality leather….it is worth paying a little extra to get something this nice.. A good small blade. The blade itself fits nicely in the ribbon of my Fedora.

This knife is really beautiful! I bought it for my Dad for Christmas, and will certainly be buying things from Toferner in the future for myself! It came sharp, but I decided to hone it just a bit before giving it to him, and in less then a minute I could literally shave with it. I also like how the swoop in the handle fits your front four fingers snuggly. This would give a lot of control to a user who was skinning or caping something out. Can you tell I like it yet? The only real downside to it is the sheath. While it's made well enough and has rawhide lacings down the business end side and has a brass rivet, The belt loop leather is much thinner leather than the rest of the sheath. It's held on with both a lower and top rivet, but regardless I think it would break eventually. That wouldn't matter in my family, because as a Skinner it would go in a pack and only be used for skinning. Belt loop aside, this is a great knife at a great price and I WILL be buying more of Toferner's products!! If it wasn't so close to Christmas this one would stay with me! LOL!

Ein wunderschönes kleines Schneidwerkzeug, ich habe es mir an eine Kette gehängt, so schön ist es, dass man es als Schmuck tragen kann - mit etwas Vorsicht, da es auch scharf ist. Handgemacht auch das Lederetui, wirklich tolle Preis-Leistung!
